With a stunning, secluded setting on the shore of Lough Rynn, surrounded by over 300 acres of breathtaking scenery and ancient forests, this magnificent castle is now an elegant 4-star hotel. Everything about the property met or exceeded out expectations. Very relaxing and enjoyable. Staff was tremendous.
Dating back to 1823, this former rectory is located in Mohill. Offering free Wi-Fi, Glebe House is set within 50 acres of land and features a garden with a terrace. Quiet, warm and friendly. beautiful and well kept property that made us feel at home throughout our stay. Laura is a wonderful host and we highly recommend either a short or long stay at Glebe House.
This 3-bedroom house is located a 2-minute walk from Lough Rynn Castle Hotel on its 300 acre estate, boasting walled gardens and lake views. Host was really pleasant Property is located on amazing grounds Beautiful courtyard setting Host left food in fridge for breakfast
Set in Mohill in the Leitrim Region, this semi-detached holiday home is 2 minutes' walk from Lough Rynn Estate. It provides free private parking. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and an oven.... Spacious, clean and well equipped. Excellent communicate with owner and really helpful (let us check in early). Left generous supplies to make breakfast etc which was appreciated. Really convenient for (a wedding) at Lough Rynn castle. Would highly recommend.
Emerald Charm, Luxury Self Catering, Lough Rynn Castle Estate, a property with a garden, a restaurant and a bar, is located in Mohill, 13 miles from Leitrim Design House, 17 miles from Sliabh an... The house was definitely a home away from home. Lots of contact from Margaret and daughters, which was so good. Lovely short walk round to Lough Rynn castle and had bar food and drinks (all reasonably priced). Would recommend house or others and would stay again! Thanks
The room I booked on booking.com did not match the room I was given on arrival. I was very disappointed with it. We ate dinner in the Drawing Room which we had a booking for.We were placed outside the door in an annexe type area at small round tables that came to our knee height. There were 2 other families seated within a metre of is.It was very uncomfortable and awkward for trying to chat. Was no music. No ambiance. There is very very little to do in the castle. No facilities for the rainy day.So we were very disappointed and just felt it was very much over rated.
Leitrim is such a beautiful county particularly north leitrim. Lots to see and do for those who love the outdoors and nature. Beautiful lakes and rolling hills and friendly people everywhere. Lovely little cafes too! We eat our way around Leitrim. Food was gorgeous! Highly recommend a trip to Leitrim. Our favorite places were Lough Rinn, Drumshambo, Dromod. We eat in the Brandy Well in Dromod and food was amazing. We had afternoon tea in Lough Rynn Castle Hotel - highly recommend this too.
On the grounds of Lough Rynn castle so the location of the house is fantastic with Carrick on Shannon near by. A pity that this house just did not wow me. A cold house. A spare hot water bottle as opposed to 3 hairdryers would go a long way and curtains at the front door would help with a very drafty hallway. It's an awful pity also that the hot press is blocked off. The linen could do with a freshen up also. Bread , milk, tea, coffee and butter was provided, so really thoughtful touch. We did get to check out late , that was a bonus.
Mohill itself is very small. We had a cup of tea in Bellz café. Lovely little spot with such friendly staff. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. We went to Lough Keeldra a few minutes drive away from Mohill. A beautiful spot with a gorgeous lakeside walk. Highly recommend it.
Ate in bar in hotel very good. Mohill itself not remarkable though found a chinese with average food and lovely sraff. If the hotel were in a nicer county it would be amazing but then maybe that s why staff are so considerate,
Nice market town, nothing apart from a few shops were open but perhaps that will change as the season prigresses, lots of farmers with big 4by4’s and even bigger trailers, they seem to pull out regardless of whether or not they are doing so in a dangerous manner, it is as if it is their RIGHt
Excellent from start to finish. We stayed for one night as attended a wedding at lough rynn. Laura was a great hostess. She obliged us with a lift to hotel which we didn't expect. Room was nice and good value for money. Breakfast was very nice and Laura was always on hand if we needed anything.
The house is situated in lovely wooded grounds of the nearby castle hotel with a beautiful lake. Very peaceful and quiet location. The house was exceptionally clean and felt like a home from home. Every little detail was thought of, including milk in the fridge and fresh roses on the table!
The staff were all amazing and made our stay more enjoyable . The food was simply mouthwatering. The walks at the hotel grounds were beautiful and everything inside the hotel was finished to the highest standard with beautiful architecture and finishing touches .
Really enjoyed our recent stay in Errew Lodge. Perfect location for visiting Mohill and the surrounding areas. Only minutes drive/walk to Lough Rynn Castle Hotel. Brian was a very welcoming host, and made me and my mum feel right at home.
It was a fabulous house. Not far from the village of Mohill. Very quiet
