We had a fantastic stay at Belle View House in Mohill, Leitrim. The house was spotless, comfortable, and perfect for a family getaway. Stella, the host, was absolutely excellent—she went above and beyond by leaving a thoughtful food parcel and even toys for the kids, which made us feel so welcome. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

We spent just one night in the area at Lough Rynn Castle.
We spent just one night in the area at Lough Rynn Castle. We went into Mohill wanting more food options than what was offered at the castle for our 6 year old and were shocked to discover there isn't a single restaurant you can eat at. There are pubs that doesn't serve food and a few take away places but no where you can sit down and enjoy a meal. The Castle did have two dining options and they did appear to have a wide variety of foods.

The room I booked on booking.com did not match the room I was given on arrival. I was very disappointed with it.
We ate dinner in the Drawing Room which we had a booking for.We were placed outside the door in an annexe type area at small round tables that came to our knee height.There were 2 other families seated within a metre of is.It was very uncomfortable and awkward for trying to chat.Was no music.No ambiance.
There is very very little to do in the castle.No facilities for the rainy day.So we were very disappointed and just felt it was very much over rated.

Sandra is a fantastic host - greeting us at the front door, giving us a lift to Lough Rynn Castle, being super communicative, leaving glasses of water for us by the table as we arrived back late into the evening, etc. Highly recommend everyone stay here if they are planning to be in the Mohill/Lough Rynn Castle area.

The house is absolutely beautiful! So convenient for anyone attending a wedding in the hotel. Our host Peter was second to none and I couldn’t recommend the house enough. I made an error with booking and Peter amended the issue at short notice and we were very grateful for this.

Great location! Close to Mohill town and Lough Rynn Castle! Sandra was so friendly and she took great care of us! Room was comfortable and specious! Sandra provided breakfast next morning which was delicious! I would definitely recommend Sandra’s place ❤️
