very nice and very clean hotel room near the regional train that connects Napoli and Sorrento. The house and room were quiet which is great after a warm day of sightseeing and queuing around with all the other tourists and dodging creative drivers. castellamare was great as a base for us because there are many restaurants and cafés and there is a public transport connection. the bathroom was very pretty and functional with a big shower, bidet,storage drawers. the host communicated with us on whatsapp and we got very detailed instructions for the self check in and prompt and friendly answers to any questions. :) our personal highlight were the welcome snacks and drinks that are included in the hotel price.

The location is in an old building but the apartments is recently renovated and is clean and nice. Our room had it's own balcony where with tables and chairs were I could enjoy a cigarette and a coffee. The room was clean and nice just as in the photo. Every morning Francesco will prepare some breakfast but is not cocked is just some italian pastry and fruits, he also mentioned we can help ourselfs from the fridge with water and juice and yogurts. Francesco the owner is really nice and fun, always there to help with anything. We asked what we can do in c.mare and he told us where we could eat where are the great restaurants and where we could have fun that night. It was an amazing experience and I would recommend to any one on a buget.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and had a very pleasant experience from the start. We arrived very early and I was surprised but grateful that our room was already ready for us! The host was very friendly, checked us in quickly, and even gave us recommendations on the map for where to go as well as transportation options. The location worked well for us. There is a bus stop right at the bottom of the road for the bus going in and out of Gragnano. And the house is about a 20 min walk from both the Castellammare di Stabia station and the via Nocera station. The included breakfast was amazing, definitely the best included breakfast we have received in all of our western Europe travels. They ask what drinks you prefer and if there are any specific preferences. And they bring it right up to your room at the time you specify! We didn't realize this when booking, but breakfast in bed is always nice. 😊 The room was spacious with a massive closet for all our stuff, a beautiful bathroom, and a private balcony with a great view! The bed was sooo comfortable. Memory foam mattress plus 2 memory foam pillows for each of us. The staff were very friendly, though may not speak much English. They are still incredibly helpful and kind. The host speaks great English though and was available on WhatsApp for any questions. Also there is a super friendly cat here that gave us a visit and some snuggles! Amazing experience, I hope to come back! ☺️

Luisa and her daughter were very nice and helpful. The place is very nice and you feel at home. The bed is comfortable, the water gets hot, and the a/c works well. You have use of the kitchen with coffee/tea provided, but not the stove/oven. The bay and "strip" as I call it, of Castellamare di stabia is on the street behind the building so you don't have to walk far to anything. There are even some tours that will pick you up directly from there. It is definitely worth the cost and should I visit again, I would return.

Domenica was a great host. We loved the homey feeling of her place. She was attentive and welcoming. We arrived a few hours earlier than check in time and she allowed an early check in with no fee. She had a great breakfast options which was self service. We enjoyed meeting her dog Alice and loved having our meals on her balcony. It was home away from home for us.

    The host Vincenzo was beyond amazing. Breakfast was so easy to grab and go exploring in the mornings. We loved the location, so quiet but close to everything we needed. We recommend staying here if you plan to visit pompeii as it's an easy train ride away. Castellamare was so charming, truly a gorgeous slice of paradise😍

    Quiet relaxed area, only a few minutes walk from plenty of bars & restaurants. Absolutely amazing terrace area and even though it’s shared there are only 5 rooms in the hotel so it’s never busy as there are loads of different areas to sit & relax, never seen anything like it, exceptional thought has gone into this . A haven of peace & tranquility. Views of Vesuvius. Staff were exceptional - Alex, Emilia, Maria Rosaria. Junior suite with private balcony and sea views was excellent.

    Francesco was a great host. He prepared a welcome dinner and the the best Aperol Spritz we have ever drank upon our arrival in the evening hours. We had fresh fruits everyday, he even prepared a home-made ice cream for us after coming back from the city. Overall we had a great experience and we can highly recommend this apartment. And it has a great location, everything is nearby.
