Baita Fraina is an excellent property. Mr. Adolfo Menardi and family are lovely people who own and run the place and make sure you are safe, comfortable, and happy. I felt very welcome here. The service is excellent. The Breakfast at this B&B is the best! I liked the breakfast buffet consisting of prosciutto, speck, cheeses, cornetto, breads, cakes, eggs cooked anyway you like it, pickles, fruits, juices, coffee, chocolate drink, juices, and yogurt. Baita Fraina Restaurant also serves lunch and dinner. Try the Spaghetti with Deer Ragù, the Deer Steak with Balsamic Vinegar, the Beef Steak - everything is a gustatory treat! The bedroom and bathroom have everything you may need. The room we stayed in - No. 3 had a comfortable bed, a cozy vibe, bright but soft yellow lighting with the bulbs cleverly concealed behind wooden panels in the beamed ceiling. The wood panelling in the room gives off a fragrant woody smell. The room is so relaxing and the bed comfortable and cozy. The bathroom had new and fresh towels everyday, enough shampoo and soap and other amenities. This B&B is very good value for money. I am very happy that I stayed here and would stay here again and recommend it to my friends. The property is located on top of a hill. From the window of our room, we could see dolomite mountains. Since we were here in late March and it snowed, the whole place was blanketed in snow. Going to town is a short downward walk to the highway through a paved road through a woody area. When blanketed in snow, it looked so magical.

The breakfast was a 5 star...exceptional. Homemade cakes and bakes. The hosts are really welcoming. Comfortable beds, nice cozy atmosphere, warm and extremely clean rooms. They actually have a cleaning and changing towels every day. There is a private parking in front and a very good view. Good location very close to the centre...however we had our own car so everything was close.. Not sure how is it with public transport. Highly recommended...definitely coming back 😊

The owner was so very nice. I enjoyed our talk about the world, and the all organic breakfast. When leaving he made a very kind and appreciated gesture to me and my growing family. The decor was very cute in the rooms, very old time traditional Italian. We enjoyed our stay here away from the crazy and crowded twn of Cortina d'Ampezzo. I loved the view of the beautiful garden and horses in the back and the peace and stars at night through our many windows.

It's a lovely hotel. Everything was perfect. Hosts are so nice and rooms are incredibly clean and beautifully decorated. View from the window is stunning. And homemade breakfast was delicious! It felt like home.
