The Het Waterhof is located in a very old building, I found out upon arrival and Fred gave a tour and history of the building. The location is in the centre of Leiden and within walking distance of everything you need. Again a booklet has been produced by Fred and Marion with a list of recommended eateries, I attended a few and they were good. The breakfast is continental and extremely good. A very good standard of accommodation with everything you need. I would highly recommend it and will stay here again during my next trip to Leiden if it's available.

the rooms were very cute and clean. staff was very kind and helping. she carried my 30kg luggage upstairs…:,) great access to nice little shops around.
Very good breakfast, great location (quiet, near everything), beautiful and spatious room. I liked it a lot. Stayed there alone, for work, and returned later, with my son. Excellent for both occasions.
This small hotel is in an ideal location, a short walk from the station & close to a wide choice of restaurants. Reception is only manned until 15:00 but the Automated checkout worked very well. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The room (101) was very quiet at night. Breakfast was good and the staff were charming.
friendly staff, excellent breakfast, quiet room.
I loved everything about the hotel! The staff was really helpful in every respect, the location was fantastic, very close to the train station and right by the city centre, and the room was big and comfortable, with charming décor. I also liked the breakfast options! I would stay there again, if I ever returned to Leiden!
Nice, clean and quiet hotel on a canal a few minutes walk outside the old city center. Friendly staff.
Friendly helpful staff, Good quiet room, excellent breakfast choice and good location
Great location and quiet.
Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The dining room and reception area were stylish. The staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was excellent. Location was perfect (public transport/city centre).
Helpful and accommodating staff. Great location with easy walk from train station and into main town. Extremely well set up for self catering. Simple but functional and spacious living area including modern dishwasher and washing machine. Quiet pleasant street.
Great location. Close to the city center. Surprisingly quiet rooms. Our windows faced the railway, and I expected to "enjoy" the trains all night... but I've never heard them.
