Cheap hotels in Shkodër

During my stay at Golden Sleep Hostel, I had an unpleasant experience with one of the guests (Ahmeti), who repeatedly smoked inside the dorm room despite being told not to. The smell of smoke made it very uncomfortable for me and the others in the room. To be fair, the hostel staff clearly informed him of the no-smoking policy and warned him multiple times. I really appreciated how the staff handled the situation — their effort to enforce the rules and ensure our safety was at the highest level. I believe this issue needs even stricter enforcement to avoid similar cases in the future. Other than that, the hostel was well located and the staff were kind and professional.

Nice rooms, family friendly, good location right at the pedestrian area, very friendly and helpful staff. We could park right at the hotel. If we go back to Shkoder, we surely will stay there again.

Super friendly staff (who spoke brilliant English - thank you), great breakfast, brilliant location - just a short walk to the supermarket and the main streets of bars/restaurants. The budget room is compact, but very clean, amazing shower and includes a fridge. Parking was also available and included for guests.

We had an exceptional stay here—truly an 11/10 experience. The location is unbeatable, offering stunning views right from the property. Everything was exceptionally clean, tidy, and comfortable. The staff made us feel right at home with their warm and helpful attitude, and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!✨👌

-Rob (worker) was great -- super helpful, friendly, and social. He gave good recommendations for both Skodra and Tirana. He was also super grounded and down to Earth. -Rob was also super helpful when I left something in the hostel; he helped arrange for another hostel person to drop it off to me when they came to Tirana. Bless!!! -Tito the black cat was so sweet. -Melina (volunteer) was also super friendly. -Usable kitchen. -Great terrace view. -Social without being party. -Dorm room was HUGE. 20 beds, but you had privacy curtains, individual lights, large locker, and a side platform where you could put all of your stuff. -Very easy to remote work here. -Great view of the busy pedestrian street. -Good water pressure and temperature control. -Lots of bathrooms.

The room was big and very clean. Breakfast was great. The staff both at the front desk and at breakfast were wonderful. It was convenient to walking around town.

A really lovely stay. Fantastically welcoming couple, who have done much great work revamping and developing this wonderful old house (of almost 200 years old). A very beautiful garden. The couple speak very good English and provide really helpful information. The house is really well located in the city, in a particularly interesting and attractive part. Highly recommended.
