Staying at Villa Poseidon is truly a wonderful experience. The house is very modern and equipped with the latest technology, including a retractable awning, automatic shutters, and a hot tub. It is spacious and has an incredible lake view with a private beach to boot. I highly recommend the home. Porto Valtravaglia, the nearby town, is a quaint sleepy town with incredibly friendly people. It is a small town, yet it has access to ferries during tourist season.

The kitchen was one of the best-equipped kitchen I ever stayed in. It was small, indeed, but it has all the implements one could wish for and even some spices. Though not equipped with AC, there were portable fans available on both levels and the windows all had insect meshes so one could leave them open for some air circulation. The place was clean, including the the bathroom. The beds were a bit on the firm side. There's a seating area under the trees across the gravel driveway; there's also a table on the top balcony and the evenings are pleasant. The house is one of a group of 3 connected houses and it's the one in the middle; the group is the left-most one towards the street. The neighbors on either side are nice and quiet. Parking is in front, though the main access door is in the back (see photo -- the house is the one with the motorcycle in front). The town's main area and promenade is but 5-10 minutes walk away, and there's a mini Carefour some 15-minute-walk up the hill.

Our friendly hosts gave very good communication. Arriving by public transport, the accommodation was easy to find and ideally situated for our needs. It's close to bus stops, ferries, good restaurants, and shops. The flat itself is nicely decorated and offers a restful atmosphere, insulated from street noise. Breakfast food is provided and there's a small kitchen. Thank you, Roberto and Claudia, for a lovely stay. We would gladly stay here again!

    This house is much better in the real life than on pictures. It's cozy, spacious and very clean. The kitchen is fully furnished, the only thing we couldn't find was wine opener, but not everyone drinks wine. I got excited when I found out that there were down duvets, so we slept very well, the combination of fresh air and great bed set is the best way to get relaxed, basically that was the reason why we went there.

    At arrival we were greeted very nicely by the owner and his father, got information about all establishment, the location is great and the room was very nice! We even received an extra message from the owner about our surroundings and the closest supermarket etc. which was very polite. Lovely view and would definitely recommend this stay to others, it was a great experience.

    Everything was as perfect!!! Marilena is the most thoughtful, gracious host. She provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around. The flat is just perfect! Kitchen is compact and contains everything one needs. The bed is comfortable, bathroom and terrace are excellent. Location is incredible.

    The location of the property was good, there was a view of Lake Maggiore, albeit interrupted by other apartments. The apartment was big enough for 2 people and the host was very helpful and suggested a restaurant for a special meal, which was a good choice. The Parco Hermitage pool and grounds were lovely. As was the wine and food left as a welcome gift, that was a nice touch.
