Cheap hotels in Bowala

Very helpful and lovely host, large rooms, and homely. Excellent Sri Lankan breakfast.

Actually we are enjoyed With the climate, views, neat and clean and fantastic staff and manager as well 😘😘😘

A great place to abandon all your usual life to emmerse yourself in Mother Nature, where you wake up on an endless scene of green mountains and only the voice of birds and various animals with a humid cold breeze. The swimming pool is a refuge after a day of tourist movement. The breakfast is an English style one with toast, butter, jam, fruits and omlette. You may have some monkey visitors in the front/back yards (don’t feed them). Expect to see lizards and mosquito repellent is a smart daily companion. Finally, the host, Mr. Smith, is a great help that he dedicates himself to make you happy by coordinating your trips from/to the hotel. Besides, the other two staff are very friendly and dedicated to provide the best service. On the top of everything, the people in general are very nice and friendly.

The sustainable Tourism concept was very attractive. An Amazing view from the upper level Rooms. Staff was very friendly.

This place is incredible. It's even better than in the photos! Such a beautiful small hotel and the outdoor area and pool overlooking mountains is simply stunning. We didn't want to leave! The front office gentlemen are absolutely lovely and do everything they can to ensure you have a wonderful stay. And the food - oh my goodness the food! Absolutely incredible authentic Sri Lankan dishes. Breakfast is superb and we ate a dinner under the stars which was unforgettable. If you are considering booking, just do it - you will be delighted.

The view was spectacular, and although it wasn't easy to get to, it was worth the trip. The staff were also incredibly considerate, and I'm very grateful.

The spring Villas Kandy is very family friendly with hospitable staff and spacious rooms. The kids loved the pool which was clean and nice and the food was great too with a Sri Lankan touch to it. Highly recommend travelling with family.in cause if i go back to kandy for holidays with my family definitely i will book with them.

Breakfast and dinner buffets had a variety of vegetarian and non-veg foods. Paper dosa was excellent - the best we had on our 10 day trip across Sri Lanka! The staff were wonderful!! Very friendly and welcoming - especially Maria, Mr. Herath and HR Manager. Good location across from Kingswood College. A short drive to Dalaga Maligawa.

The staff were amazing! So nice and helpful. The room was big and exactly as advertised. We loved the balcony to watch the sunset. The kids loved cooling off in the pool after a long day. It’s definitely an interesting drive up the hill from Kandy but so worth it for the views. The food was excellent! It is cash only so just make sure you bring enough ahead of time. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Hosts were very welcoming and tentative to our needs, the property was fully equipped

The view was AMAZING! Calm and peaceful place. But what will impress you the most will be hosts - the kindest couple! They will make you feel like a part of their family. We had a great time! Highly recommend this cozy and marvelous place!

The host was amazing and so incredibly sweet and helpful. The room was comfortable, with good AC and hot water. I can’t think of anything negative to say.

We loved our stay at the Chocolate Factory House. It is very clean with comfortable beds and bed linen. The lounge is a nice relaxing space and the view from the terrace is amazing. Unfortunately, it rained a lot so we were unable to sit outside as much as we would have liked. We really enjoyed the Kandy Tuk Tuk city tour which Sami arranged for us. The driver was excellent, knowledgeable and spoke good English. Sami and Aline were excellent hosts and Sami kindly transported us between Kandy railway station and the accommodation.

Everything: food, people, room, price...

Good maintenance and customer service very good Nice location

We had a lovely night here. Wipul and his family (and Girlie the dog) were so welcoming, even recording perahera on tv for us to watch with him over breakfast! The room was tidy and very comfortable, with a beautiful view, and breakfast was delicious. Overall amazing value for money. I'd strongly recommend a stay here to anyone.

I had an incredible experience staying here. The host and his family were absolutely amazing—so warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. They went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and well taken care of. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious Sri Lankan food they served. Each meal was a delightful culinary journey, full of authentic flavors and prepared with so much care. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, providing the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged, making my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I absolutely loved my time here and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a welcoming, home-like atmosphere with exceptional service and fantastic food. Can’t wait to return!
