We liked the most was Raj. He is the guy who manage the place and he is an absolute pleasure. His professionalism and friendliness really helped us enjoy the trip. It was such a nice place. He made tea for us, got us food and did everything we asked without any complaints. We would go there again, just for him.

My recent stay at Mount View Bungalow in Hatton was an absolutely delightful experience that truly exceeded expectations. Opting for the three-bedroom apartment proved to be an excellent choice, offering a haven of comfort, cleanliness, and breathtaking scenery. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the sheer spaciousness of the apartment and the evident care taken in its maintenance. The living area was thoughtfully furnished, creating a welcoming atmosphere with comfortable sofas, a TV, and convenient WiFi access that made us feel right at home. Each of the three bedrooms was remarkably spacious, providing ample room to relax. The provision of fresh, clean towels, crisp bedsheets, and cozy blankets ensured a restful night's sleep. The bathrooms were equally impressive, being immaculate and very well-maintained, reflecting a high standard of hygiene. For those who prefer to self-cater, the fully equipped kitchen was a fantastic amenity. It included a gas stove, refrigerator, rice cooker, heater jug, and a complete set of necessary utensils, making meal preparation a breeze. However, the true gems of Mount View Bungalow were the balconies attached to every room and the main hall. Stepping onto them revealed truly breathtaking panoramic views of the majestic mountains and lush tea plantations surrounding Hatton. These serene vistas provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and soaking in the natural beauty of Sri Lanka. Practicality was also well-considered, with ample and secure parking available within the gated premises, offering peace of mind for guests with vehicles. Furthermore, the location is incredibly convenient, with Hatton town just a pleasant 10-minute walk away, providing easy access to shops and local amenities. The hospitality we received from the host was exceptional.

I liked everything about this place. Room was very neat and comfortable. The view from the balcony was stunning. Seman, the owner picked me up from the station and sent me off tl the station. I rented his scorer for two days and it was working perfect. They had everything i wanted. Beyond my expectation. All the family members are very helpful and respecrful. They are friendly but not over-friendly. They are very polite and give me personal space. It is a perfect balance. Aunties food is superb. She said her grandma used to cook in a fancy hotel in Kandy and she got the skills from her. Any international guest will be happy with her food. Even if you find some cheaper places in the area, just book this place. You cannot go wrong.

Without doubt the best accommodation we stayed in Sri Lanka! This place is absolutely immaculate. Everything and everywhere is spotlessly clean and maintained to very high standard. The room and bathroom were very well equipped and the shower was beautiful and warm. There is a lovely lounge room and outdoor area to share with the other guest (4 rooms in total). The owners are very friendly and even made us breakfast at 6:15 so we could catch an early train. It is literally a 5 minute walk to the train station so you don’t need transport.

A beautiful place surrounded by tea plantations, with two small waterfalls just nearby. You can order a delicious dinner right at the property — everything we tried was amazing. The staff is very friendly, and thanks to the helpful manager Daya, we visited some big waterfalls and a scenic reservoir with stunning views. We’ll definitely come back next year!

The views were great, the staff was extremely cooperative and made sure to go the extra mile like arranging a poolside BBQ for us. The rooms were aesthetically pleasing and cleaned well. Breakfast, tea time snacks, and dinner was delicious and presented beautifully each time. The food was not very expensive either; it was good value for money.

    Location was great, right next to the station. The garden out the front was so pretty and lovely and you had a nice view. The man who owns the house was so lovely and accommodating and took care of anything we needed (laundry, towels, etc.). He even brought us over some chocolate which was super sweet of him. The shower and bathroom was clean, the beds were comfortable and there was a fan in the room (no ac but we didn't need it). Really nice and super cheap restaurant around the corner too!

    Mount View Bungalow is a nice place to stay if you travel across Hatton area, specially to Adam's Peak. Very close to the Hatton town centre. Place was very clean and organized. Rishad, the owner was very friendly and supportive and will definitely help with anything you needed - meals, parking, locations etc. Highly recommended for both locals and foreigners who expect a great customer service.

    I had a wonderful stay and would love to come back! The hosts are very friendly and accommodating, I took a tuktuk with the owner to Adam's Peak for a reasonable price and he gave me great advice about the area. He picked me up from the train station, but it's also only a 10minute walk so it's a great location. Everything is very clean and the room has a door out to the balcony, it's very cute. Dinner was included and it was delicious 😋

    Kiruba is the nicest, kindest, most helpful host I’ve come across. He goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need. The rooms themselves are simple but very clean and comfortable, and the location is fantastic, within a short walk of the main road and with a lovely terrace looking out over the hills beyond.
