Verandah House Country Estate is absolutely idyllic with a completely refurbished property you are surrounded by the best views in a completely cozy chic atmosphere. The owners are as nice as can be and made us feel welcome from the moment we drove through the gates. From the great breakfast buffet in the morning to the fire and marshmallows at night, you’re in a cozy mountain haven the whole time. I couldnt recommend it more for a group of friends looking to get away, an extended family wanting to spend some quality time as a group or a couple looking for a quiet tranquil weekend. And its all within a quick drive to the local vineyards and national park walks.

Loved the slow combustion fireplace, large bath, beautiful outlook, very quiet, stunning grounds, great location not far from town and also close to a nice rain forest walk. We also struck perfect weather while we were there which added to the pleasure, but with the lovely setting and plenty of nice restaurants and other indoor things to do on the mountain, I'm sure we would have had a great time even if the weather was not so good.
