The property is located on top of a hill with a view over Manuel Antonio and the surrounding forest. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. There are trails and a secluded waterfall to enjoy. The food is freshly prepared and tastes amazing. (The room had a fully equipped kitchen we didn't use.)

I loved everything! Was really upset that we had to go. We had an incredible stay, the shower was spectacular. You get to be surrounded by the nature at all times. Missing the little pup already!

The photos do not do this place any justice. It is exceptionally beautiful and located inside the jungle which provides a wonderful experience. Spotted lots of animals within the property premises, including chipmunks, monkeys, a Jesus lizard, and even a frog. Considering the location insects were surprisingly not an issue. The host also provided us with coffee for the entire duration of the stay as well as gave us a pineapple and 2 mangoes upon our arrival.

With La Macha Beach reachable in a 11-minute walk, Sumba Lodge has accommodations, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a shared lounge.
