I cannot say enough good things about this place. This is easily the coziest, cutest, most beautifully finished place that we have stayed - ever. I stayed with my daughter and we both absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave. We had hot chocolate on the couch with the fluffy blanket together. When we left we completed a tour of Ireland staying in various lovely hotels, but we kept saying that we missed our cottage! There was fresh milk and bread in the fridge. Everything was so thoughtful and well presented. My daughter took photos of your cute little hand written notes dotted around the place. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay. You made our holiday! x

The Gamekeeper's Lodge had the rustic facade of an 18th century building but an interior that was completely modernized. The bedrooms were perfect with a master bedroom en suite and two very comfortable bedrooms upstairs. It is a very private location with a nice area to park in front of the lodge. My two companions and I were delighted with the accommodation and the friendliness of our host, Gerard.

The homemade Guinness bread and homemade cookies were gifted to us by the host upon arrival and were delightful. I could not fault our stay at the lodge. I was thoroughly impressed. Plus, the host, Margaret, was as friendly as you could hope for, making us feel very welcome. Plus, the lodge was nothing short of perfect, we both loved the decor, it had everything you could possibly need for your stay, and the cleanliness of the entire location was impeccable.

It is quiet, it has everything you need, great view, great host. Jonathan was so nice with us, he provided some welcoming goods to make our stay better. He provided tips for food around and other things to do in Donegal. Definitely will stay here again
