The rooms are modern and very clean, with a few details that could be improved, but overall it is excellent by Zanzibar standards. The beachfront garden is stunning, with direct access to the beach, and the sea is just as beautiful. The staff is the hotel’s real strength: the waiters are extremely kind and always ready to help, as is the head chef, Kailash, who is friendly and always available. The food is very varied and, in our opinion, very good—you can always find something that suits your taste. There is a wide choice of meat and fish, with plenty of vegetables and fruit. Highly recommended, thank you for this wonderful experience.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Utupoa. After three nights, we really felt like it was our home away from home. The building is a wonder and itself worth the visit. Joyce and her team were so attentive, personable, and helpful and family-style meals were excellent. Utupoa sits directly on the beach and easily reachable by foot from the village of Matemwe. What a wonderful way for our family to get to know a corner of Zanzibar and to unwind from our adventures. Thank you, Joyce!

Located on the coast of Kiwengwa, Zanbluu Beach Hotel offers ocean and garden views. The property offers an infinity pool with views of the ocean, as well as a pool bar. Thier staffs are friendly and they are also very caring very nice building I enjoyed my stay

Evergreen Bungalows offers beachfront accommodation in Bwejuu. The property has a private beach area and bike hire and car hire are available. Zanzibar City is 37 km away. Evergreen Bungalows is a magical paradise with love for the detail. The location and property is truly magnificent and exactly what you want if you’re looking to escape the busy crowds of stone town or nungwi. The staff is wonderful and kind, the restaurant great, and the pole pole island vibe lived to perfection. I would always come back!

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Demani Lodge Backpackers Zanzibar is located in Paje. WiFi access is available. You can enjoy garden view from the room. Very nice place near Paje and Jambiani. Rooms was nice and cleaned every day. Food and beverages are in good prices and quality is so high and good. Every Thursday owners make some local party it was incredible fun 😂🥂 The bigest plus for staff !

I stayed at Z Lodge Zanzibar with my wife. The room was so beautiful, I loved the flowers on the bed and the artwork on the wall; everything was lovely. The breakfasts were perfectly tropical and the restaurant itself had an amazing romantic vibe. Snack of our day was freshly made Banana chips with avocado dip- delicious. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home. I highly recommend this hotel.
