Located in Humahuaca in the Jujuy region, with Humahuaca nearby, La Chakana Humahuaca has accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. Very comfortable department. Huge bed and ample space to store luggage. You get lovely oranges and bread on a daily basis. We appreciate the plunger coffee! The location was great for us as it was just a bit outside the town center but still 100% within walking distance to everything.
Located in Humahuaca in the Jujuy region, with Humahuaca nearby, Albergue Hostel Casa de Familia has accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. Owner picked us up from the bus terminal and we could use the kitchen and was hing machine. Very nice. Hot water in the shower and nice bed.

The town is small and very authentic!! There's several restaurants and bars that shows you the local culture. Humahuaca is the perfect place to visit the surrounding, with around 8-9 trips to do in one-day trips.
Humahuaca is a must if you are in Jujuy. Don't just pass by, stay there for a while! Go to the mountains, enjoy life in this lovely town and learn more about the culture in the museum of the "Patrimonio Cultural Intangible"!
A very interesting small town with lots of history and period charm. The local people are very friendly and helpful. There are a lot of small B&Bs, hostels, hostelerias. The many market stalls and small businesses were selling what looked like mass-produced tourist items; we did not find any real 'crafts people' there, but were not in shopping mode, either.
We traveled to Humahuaca to see the 14 colores yet we were unable to do that because of the bad weather... anyhow, the village is very small and one day there is enough. The best food we had was at the hostel La Puerta Verde that had various vegetarian options to choose from.
A lovely family run Hostel, impeccably clean in the center of Humahuaca. Just few blocks away from bus terminal, the transport hub to book from day trips to the most amazing locations nearby to arriving and leaving town. Breakfast was great with home made 'media lunas' prepared by the father, a professional pastry master- I tried to convince him to make a variety of such delicious pastries to be sold to the guests for afternoon coffee or tea..... not sure I succeeded on this though.
Exceeded the expectations, very nice hostel and helpful staff. Family atmosphere and good breakfast. The hostel is located further from the Humahuaca center, around 15-20 mins walk. On the other hand you're very close to the mountains and can see the cows from your window. Ideal if you have a car or want to rest from the busy trip and relax in the mountains.
Eric welcomed us sooo nicely! He is a great cook and told us so much about the culture of North Argentina. The room was big and clean and the hotel is full of many beautiful decoration. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you very much!
Very comfortable apartment attached to a family house just on the "other side" of the river (still walking distance) from Humahuaca town. Lovely, helpful proprietor.
