Sweet little hotel. We had the two bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor for four nights. It was spacious and comfortable. Quiet and peaceful. The staff was exceedingly accommodating. On our last night, I mentioned that we wouldn't have time for breakfast in the morning, as we had to just be on our way - the staff member offered to make us a snack box to-go instead. They made us a huge box - five sandwiches, bananas, plums, apples, yogurt drinks. It was a very generous and sweet gesture. The BEST part of this hotel is the restaurant! We dined here two of the four nights that we stayed here, and the food was REALLY GOOD!

    Good luck finding food on a Thursday night at 9:30pm. Most restaurants close then. I found a kebab place, which promptly informed me "only pizza though" - fine, except they insisted on cash only ... so I ended up at the only available option: Mac. And then: Well, hey, it's Braunau: famous for one thing and one thing only – tbf it's not their fault, I suppose. But not a nice vibe nevertheless.
