Offering direct views of the Wilder Kaiser mountains, the Blattlhof in Going is 984 feet away from the ski elevator. The rooms all have a balcony and offer free Wi-Fi. Nice clean hotel. We were on a hike so location was good for such. That said it is beside highway and not many other facilities (restaurants etc) nearby. You would need to take bus (check timetables) or call a taxi form nearest town. Rooms/food excellent.
Located in the village of Going am Wilden Kaiser, Familien-Wellnessresort Seiwald offers a luxurious spa area including large indoor and outdoor pools. Free WiFi is available. The receptionist walked me around the hotel and explain where everything was located and the drinks service for the Spa area!
Hotel Sonnenhof is located in the Wilder Kaiser Ski area a few-minute walk from the Astberg chair elevator. It features a large wellness area with an indoor pool, several saunas and a fitness room. There is a lot of love put into this hotel, everything is well kept, the sauna is a relaxing oasis and the quiet room on the top floor really is the cherry on the top! Dinner & breakfast were delicious and the service was great too!
Boasting an outdoor pool, GOING TRIPLE A apartments EAST in Going features accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. Verena, the proprietor, is a very dedicated host. The property only opened up in late 2019. It is well thought through, beautifully designed and an outstanding standard of craftsmanship. The kids enjoyed the outdoor pool (February), quite an unusual feat. The Nespresso coffee maker with plenty of capsules was a nice touch. We will be back!
Located within 1.2 mi of Astbergbahn and 1.2 mi from the ski area Wilder Kaiser-Brixental, Kögeihof features rooms with mountain view. All rooms boast a kitchenette and a private bathroom. Location was tremendous and the place was exactly what we expected and were looking for. Great value traditional Austrian accommodation that is recommended to families.

Great little town, easy access to Ellmau on the ski bus through the day. At night it’s a 10/15 min walk or €8-10 by taxi into Ellmau. Great pizza restaurant in Going called Pizzeria Primavera, great value and great food.
Stunning scenery and cute little town. Beautiful in summer and I'm sure even better in winter when you can ski! Lovely cable car ride to the tip of the mountain with a fantastic children's play area and restaurant at the top. Amazing views. Only a small supermarket in town but had everything we needed for a few days. Stunning drive to Salzburg airport.
Breakfast is served every day until 9.30 - this is especially for weekends far too early. Staff was not flexible about my remarks....The hotel is a little "junk-yard" of everything - definitely charming. Hopefully only temporary, but internet was not working well.
Clean. Every day cleaning. Breakfast very good. Nice service. Quiet hotel with sauna. Comfortable old tyrol style rooms. Parking near the hotel. Ski school 200m away and lift to start skiing through blue/red slopes in the valley.
Beautiful location, nicely maintained hotel with Austrian-countryside-typical touch. Great personal and caring customer care by the owners, nice spa and beautiful terrace with sun throughout the whole day
The receptionist walked me around the hotel and explain where everything was located and the drinks service for the Spa area!
Helpful staff, good breakfast, nice and cosy hotel
