This is a beautiful picturesque area - you see and can walk along the great river, there are many medieval ruins, extraordinary churches, great monasteries, lovely little towns rich of history, interesting museums, and many, many vineyards.

We were thrilled to be able to stay in the countryside and not in a tourist town like Melk. We loved coming back to the cozy tower every day after our excursions and relaxing on the outdoor seating area. The apartment is spacious, modern, clean and perfectly equipped. Our stay at the tower in Leiben was wonderful and we definitely plan to return.

Very comfortable family run hotel with views over the river, situated in a small village hamlet up from the main road.
Good restaurant with super local cuisine ( one of the best schnitzels I've had in Austria }, and a good breakfast. The room was spacious and had a balcony to sit and watch the river roll by. The family were welcoming and all the staff friendly , we would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the apartment. It was really big and clean. We had towels, toiletries and hairdryer.
The parking place is in front of the hotel. The breakfast was excellent, rich and for every taste.
The AC was a little to loud, but did a good job considering the big surface of the apartment.
