Batchelor Butterfly Farm offers accommodations in Batchelor with access to a swimming pool, restaurant and a bar. Free WiFi is available in public areas. It is an amazing place to stay with young children. There are plenty of toys, the cabins are very spacious, and the staff gave us carrots every day to feed all the animals. The pool is beautiful. We absolutely loved it here and we will definitely return.

We loved that it felt very private, surrounded by lush tropical gardens. It was a perfect place to wake up and wind down at the end of the day. The staff were also very friendly.
Located in Batchelor, Banyan Tree has accommodations with an outdoor pool, a restaurant and a bar. The crew at the Banyan tree were top notch. They provided great information on the park and had an excellent dinner prepared for us. We had a great time and I would hope to return soon!
With Territory Wildlife Park reachable in 3.4 miles, AAOK Lakes Resort and Caravan Park provides accommodations, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center and a bar. I thoroughly love the 2 bedroom house as its overlooking lake has big verandah plus BBQ and is private away from all others. ..

Nestled on the water's edge, Crab Claw Island is located on the south-western side of Bynoe Harbor. Guests can enjoy a swim in the indoor pool. Location is FANTASTIC. Gorgeous views from beachfront cabin. No TV. Bar and restaurant great prices and excellent food. Staff very helpful. Fabulous if you have a boat but you can hire one there. Only 90 mins from Darwin.
This place is the last place before you enter to Litchfield National Park. Pleasant place to stay if you wish to stop before you go the the park. Litchfield Outback Resort has great kitchen, pub, shop, liquor store. Pleasant environment just to relax, listen to the birds at late afternoon. The beer is so cold, strongly recommend
30 - 60 minute drive to most of the sightseeing you want to do in Litchfield National Park. Batchelor is very small and doesn't have many eating options but there was a great hotel, Litchfield Bistro that had great food. We didn't really see anything in Batchelor it was more a place to stay close to Litchfield National Park.
We were in Batchelor to go to Litchfield NP, which we enjoyed immensely. The Butterfly farm was good, and the people, atmosphere and food at The Banyan Cafe a million times better than where we stayed at Pandanus on Litchfield/Litchfield Sunset.
Batchelor came as quite a nice surprise. It is of course a perfect base for exploring Litchfield, but turns out it is also a lovely village with interesting things to see in its own right. Take time for a good look at the Havlik Castle, and don’t miss the Butterfly Farm!
Love the waterfalls and Buley Rockholes. Walk to the Cascades was a bit slippery and difficult. Can recommend the Greenant Creek walk early, before it gets too hot. Lots of people around but all areas have been set up well to handle the volume. Rum Jungle Tavern puts on a good feed and the Litchfield Motel is being renovated, so more choices will soon be available.
A nice little basic drive-through or 'stay a night' NT country town. We stayed at The Banyan Tree and enjoyed great country town hospitality. The Owner being a great guy and his staff very friendly. They are also Licensed. We found the local bakery (well hidden next to the general Store, and not really signed) which served good breakfast food (hot) which was hard to find. the Banyan Tree did offer a hot breakfast, but we were up and gone by 8am when they opened. Everywhere else only offered Continental Breakfasts. There are 2 Petrol Stations and it is the last stop before heading off into Litchfield National Park. These are truly natural Australian country folk - straight taking and friendly.
