Set within manicured gardens, overlooking Ovens River, this property is located just an 8-minute walk from Bright town center. A restaurant, bar and an outdoor pool are available for you to enjoy. The river view rooms - wow, just wow. Probably my favourite memory from the whole holiday was waking up to the king parrots and kookaburras in the morning. Magical!
Renovated in late 2017 and just a 5-minute walk from the shops, restaurants and cafes of Bright, this motel offers an outdoor solar heated pool surrounded by lovely established gardens. We were really impressed with how modern the motel is. It had all the amenities we required and we appreciated the free on site parking. The location is perfect and close to town. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Located in the heart of Bright, Coach House Inn features a seasonal outdoor pool and views of the garden. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Every room is fitted with a flat-screen TV. Very friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere and clean and tidy room
Just a 5-minute drive from the heart of Bright and set on 12 acres on the banks of Ovens River, Discovery Parks - Bright features views of Mount Feathertop. The whole holiday park is well looked after, including common spaces such as the pool and games room. Our cabin was super clean. The staff were lovely.
Lovely place to visit Lots of walks and things to see if you source them out we found swings bridges that were a little out of the way but worth the visit ,canyon walk ,Huggins lookout Mount buffalo
We like to walk and Bright was really good for both short and longer walks. We walked along the short walks along the river and back. I like the swinging bridges and natural bird life. Our long walk beside the creek to Wandiligong was wonderful. We had dinner at the Alpine Pub which was delicious. Excellent and generous breakfast and coffee at the Cherry Walk coffee shop across the road from the hotel, and a hot pie at the Beechworth bakery. All good. Our only two complaints, as walkers, was one, the distances stated on the maps and signposts are sometimes deceptive (shorter than real times and distances) and the other, that there was nothing open on our walk to the old gold mining centre at Wandiligong on Wednesday. The pub is shut on Tuesday and Wednesday; and Wandiligong is a long way to walk to find everything closed (the map had a few cafes but nothing was open). We could not even find fresh water. The general store had closed in 1974! :-) The distance by car is stated at 5 km; but it is very different (almost double) when walking via the creek walking tracks. These are much more beautiful.
Bright has something to offer throughout the year and it is an incredibly peaceful and relaxing place to take a short break from work. The air is fresh and the people are friendly and welcoming. There are some good eats in Bright but they normally require a booking or you'll have to go early to avoid the crowds. Shops do open quite late but that also means there's no rush to wake up early.
Bright was a great place to visit. Beautiful town and great cafes, restaurants and shops. A wonderful entry point to the mountains, bush walks, cycling and more. Close to other enjoyable towns and attractions.
Bright was more crowded than I expected on a Monday & Tuesday. Good cycling. Top scenery. Good base for exploring the region. The local Distillery and the Brewery both bit overrated. The Star Hotel - basic pub menu but delicious and beautifully cooked meals at reasonable price; highly recommended.
Slice of Heaven in the Alpine Country. Best pit stop for visiting the Snow slopes and nature walks. In love with the Entire Bright region & surrounds . Next time will visit in early Autumn to enjoy the spectacular scenery and stay longer
Robina was an amazing host - easy to communicate with, provided code for the pin pad front door on the day arrival (stopped the need to get a key). The location was perfect, 5 minute walk to town. Super comfortable bed, spotlessly clean and modern apartment. Bathroom amenities provided as will as all laundry & kitchen requirements. Coffee Pod machine available (I didn't use it but a nice touch). I can't wait to return to Bright and hopefully stay at Mountain Mist again.
The rooms are basic but clean & nice. They serve breakfast which is included in the price. Breakfast was reasonable, though no change in menu day to day. They don't provide microwave in each room, but if you take your leftover food to the front desk, they happily warm it up for you. During the days when hotel is fully booked, parking can be a challenge, if you are arriving later in the evening.
The property is very reasonably priced. The cabins facing the play park are best for kids as they are easily accessible and one can watch over the kids from the cabins comfort. The staff was very friendly. It's 20-25 mins bike ride from Bright and we always loved the ride as family. The kitchen has most of the utensils available for one to cook a hot meal.
Fantastic property, charming cottages located in a beautiful garden. Quiet location adjacent to the famous Canyon walk. Close to the center of Bright, walking distance to shops, cafeterias and restaurants. The cottages are clean and beautifully appointed. They feel like home away from home. Lovely, helpful hosts. Our favourite accommodation in Bright.
Extremely comfortable stay in our Valley View cabin with our young family. Great facilities and views and so much to do in the caravan park and nearby town. It really was an ideal location. The park was well looked after and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Great little property, 3 mins from Bright town centre ( or 10min walk along the river), well kept with good facilities for a family holiday stay. Easy access to all basic amenities & to the alpine region. Winner winner!
Very welcoming & friendly Hotel Managers. The room was clean with very good facilities, located only 5 mins walk to the centre of Bright and a range of excellent restaurants & bars.
It was very clean, mattress was to soft for me. the view was great, its just a little out dated in the cabins. Internet is TERRIBLE didn't work 90% of the time
Very clean and good facilities. Great communication. Easy to book and efficient self check in. Perfect for our needs for a short and easy stay in Bright!
It was spacious and good layout an older type Motel a bit tied in the bathroom etc You can walk into town CBD by road or pleasant walk along the River
Very central, very accommodating hosts (let us park at the hotel before and after checkout) and very clean (newly renovated)

Very central to town and a very comfortable stay. Easy to walk to local shops and facilities. Nice large windows so you don't feel 'boxed in' and good facilities including a microwave, toaster etc.
