The nicest B&B experience we have ever had. The hostess was friendly and welcoming, and treated us like old friends, yet without being overly familiar or inquisitive. Breakfasts were lovely, with a wide range of choices, freshly baked bread every morning, and hot dishes cooked to our individual preferences. The house had plenty of options for quiet places and privacy, or mingling with other guests, and plenty of activities available such as books, music and puzzles.

The Best Exotic Magnolia Cottage is a private villa located in Bundanoon in the New South Wales Region and is 14 mi from Bowral. It was all wonderful! It was a very beautiful and comfortable cottage with everything we needed inside it. The hosts left plenty of food for us and even dropped of a bottle of champagne when they knew it was our wedding anniversary! The gardens surrounding the cottage were absolutely magnificent and it was very private.

A divine gem in the Southern Highlands. Beautifully stylish accomodation, prepared by hosts who have thought of EVERYTHING. Highly recommend!
Easy access to the National Park. Unfortunatly access to the waterfall was closed due to the wet weather over the last few months. A small town not really sure about itself. Two very good restaurants that would compete well with good Capital City venues. There is only one main street with shops, restaurants all close together centered around the railway station.
My Wife and I have visited Bundanoon many times over 50 years, It is frozen in time, nothing much has changed and it retains that Southern Highlands ambience. The major drawcard for us is the awesome Morton National Park,; So do get off your arse and hike or ride to some of the valley lookouts; it rivals the Blue Mountains.
A beautiful historic town with lovely gift stores including unique locally made products. Plenty of cafes with great coffee. A National Park within walking distance from the town centre, bush tracks, waterfalls and a swimming hole at the absolute bottom of the gorge. Lovely walking tracks to follow all over town taking in the history of the area. Close to historic Berrima, wineries, and other towns just as lovely. Sutton Forrest very close by.
Bundanoon is a quaint town with some nice retail and great dining options. Book ahead for the Italian and Thai restaurants run by friendly locals. The cafe has good coffee and breakfast was delicious. All within walking distance of each other. A quieter town than Moss Vale and Bowral, Bundanoon is perfect for those seeking a quiet, out of the way retreat. There is also a monthly weekend market.
Bundanoon is a lovely village. Being a public holiday there were not many shops or cafes open. Those that were open, were excellent. Of particular note is Bundanoon Botanicals (33 Railway Ave). This is a beautiful shop The lady there, I presume the owner, knits a lot of the items on sale. I bought 2 great beanies!!! They make their own soaps and candles. A real find. I had breakfast at Potter's Pantry. This was great. Fabulous coffee. Thel lovely girl playing the Covid 'Door B--tch' was good humoured and very patient with the unreasonable!! Its a pity that the other businesses were not open. As there were a lot of tourists in town it would have been worthwhile for them to be open.
A beautiful small, old town. Stayed over New Year and it was fabulous. Most shops closed and not many people around which suited us due to the current COVID situation. A beautiful old Tudor pub, across the railway line, has a great beer garden and lovely, big meals. Our accommodation at the Bundanoon Country Inn was perfect and relaxing. The Manager was extremely accommodating. A gorgeous little cafe, Potters Pantry has a fabulous breakfast and delicious cakes. Highly recommend the little town.
The hotel is charming. Lovely, very comfortable and very clean - a real home away from home. Our hosts Lucie and Tim were superb - nothing too much trouble for us and our three teenage sons. Tasty dinner on our first evening then board games, books and a pool table were much appreciated. It’s a lovely hotel in a lovely setting. I would thoroughly recommend the Lodge.
The hotel is a good example of its era. I booked a bedroom with ensuite that was small with high ceilings and a window overlooking the garden and pool. I met my family there for an enjoyable Mothers Day lunch. The steak was cooked as requested, medium rare and the fish moist. The deserts delicious. The kids enjoyed playing in the gardens and on the tennis court.
Super cute cottage, loved the feel of the place. Very close to Bundanoon town, hotel and shops. Nice touches with a coffee machine, ground coffee beans, full pantry and biscuits. Even fresh cut flowers!
Beautiful property in lovely gardens. Large and nicely decorated public rooms. Nice host, and great cooked breakfast. Short walk to village for coffee shops, pub etc. Large room with comfortable bed.
The apartment was amazing and the spare land at the rear was nice. Proximity to town, station, pub and restaurants excellent. Access to the Bundanoon Hotel pool was a major plus!
it was clean, very close to shops and hotel. The staff had put the heating on before arrived so it was cosy!
very good attention to details and care from the host. very close to Bundanoon cafes and hotel.
The homemade breakfasts, the freshly baked at home cakes, the cosy decor and very lovely hosts.
