The church house is unique and feels majestic. Clean, comfortable, enjoyable, and spacious inside. Just seconds away to groceries for our kitchen experience. For quick eats, cafes are just on the other side of the road.

Great location near the historic towns of Ross and Campbell. Interior of the farmhouse was just lovely. I particularly love the kitchen and dining area. It is so cosy and well thought out. Kitchen was equipped with every utensil and cutlery; fridge was also stocked with some welcomed essentials like bread, milk and water. The bedrooms were also a dream. The duvets and pillows were plush and comfortable. I had such great sleep here.

Great location, near where I was working. Well insulated cool during the hot day, warm during the cool nights. Love the garden with a lot of fruit trees and birds. Big bathroom with spa was lovely to relax in. Very cosy stay in a unique heritage spot.

This town is a sweet town full of history and charm.

This town is a sweet town full of history and charm. The book store to the antique shop, to the local pub and much more are worth the visit. It helps you slow down and relax. I highly recommend Ivy on Gleneg to stay and walking the neighbourhood to look at the homes around the town that have been restored. The town folk are super lovely and greet you like your a friend. Check out the old bridge at different times of the day. Great photo opportunities.

Campbell Town is full of character from heritage buildings to great places to eat. We stayed 2 nights at Ivy on Glenelg for a family reunion at the local hotel. it was perfect for us..beautifully decorated and very cosy. Breakfast supplies were very generous , hosts were warm and welcoming and had provided everything that we could possibly need.

A quaint village with old world charm.

A quaint village with old world charm. Take the time to stop and explore the buildings, antique stores, the convict history and the bridge they built in 1836. Take a stroll along the river. Much more than just a roadside stop between Hobart and Launceston.

The history of the Merino sheep and Eliza Forlonge was amazing. The Book Cellar at 132 High Street a must for book lovers . A beautiful book shop that even serves coffee. Coco Blue gist shop a surprise find in this little town . Beautiful Marino wool products and very unique and fashionable. The sun dial in the park very accurate on working out the time of day A great town to visit

Campbelltown has more to offer than just a place to stop for a coffee. There are churches and historic buildings to visit and an interesting bookshop specialising in Tassie books. There was a market in the Town Hall on Sunday and there is a reasonably stocked IGA for self-catering. Being located in the middle of Tas it gives very good access times to Hobart, Launceston and the East Coast.

Ivy on Gleneg was a wonderful surprise. The charming friendly welcome of David, and Ollie, to the outstanding rooms that catered for everything you can imagine (which must be Irene’s fine eye). The hosts know how to spoil you. Campbell Town is wonderful to explore with so much history just like this charming cozy BnB. You must make this one of your places to visit when discovering Tasmania. So close to the beautiful Freycinet and wine glass bay.

We stayed 3 nights in this gorgeous 1838 historic house. We stayed in the Doctors Wing, which was a spacious self-contained cottage that had absolutely everything that we could have possibly wanted and more. David and Irene, our hosts, were so friendly and accommodating. Nothing was a problem. We recommend this gorgeous cottage to anyone looking to stay in the Midlands, Campbell Town is a friendly and charming historic place.

Stunning accommodation with exquisite stained glass windows and so spacious. We stayed in Campbell Town as we had a wedding at Vaucluse Estate so it was very close by. Not much to do in Campbell Town but Ross was great to visit.
