Bed and pillows very comfortable. Very quiet location with view of the river from our room. Continental breakfast very welcome. Large patio and chairs outside our room. Wide parking space. Full length mirror in large room. Great shower pressure. Full size fridge. Plates, bowls and cutlery included. Kerry in reception is lovely. Also Rebecca the cleaner is nice. Bob the manager was pleasant. Fantastic seafood eatery (Allan’s seafood) next door. Not open Mondays. We bought a meat lovers pizza from there and it’s the best pizza I’ve ever had. Liquorland next door also very handy. CBD of murwillumbah only 10 minute drive away. We will be back.

Extremely well set up. Great appliances and plenty of extras by way of cooking essentials. Air con great. Big comfortable bed. Bedding options. Quiet location. Set on a hill so not easy to walk into town but you are close. I would definitely stay here again..

One of my favourite places I’ve ever stayed. A truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! I stopped here for the night during my road trip from Byron Bay back to the Gold Coast, and I’m so glad I did. It was the perfect place to rest, recharge, and soak in a bit of countryside magic. On the day of my stay, the owner messaged me with clear instructions in case they weren’t there when I arrived, which made things super easy. But when I got there, they were waiting to greet me, gave me a warm welcome and a little tour of the property. They were so lovely and kind. You could really feel how much love and care goes into the place. The tiny shed itself was immaculate! Spotlessly clean and full of charm and character. The bed was insanely comfortable, with an extra warm doona and the fluffiest pillows. It felt like a luxury escape in the middle of nature. The highlight for me was definitely the animals. I had so much fun getting to pat and feed them. It added such a unique and joyful element to the stay. Just a heads-up: if you’re not a fan of birds, this might not be the place for you, as there are quite a few and they’re super excited at first! But they did calm down and eventually just lazed about, which was really peaceful to watch. The property itself was absolutely beautiful, especially at sunset. I had a quiet night enjoying the firepit and there was plenty of firewood provided along with all the equipment you’d need to get it going. I also used the BBQ and had a lovely, peaceful evening under the stars. There’s very little phone reception, but they’ve thought of everything – a TV and DVD player with movies provided made it such a fun, cozy night in. Honestly, I couldn’t recommend this place more. It’s full of personality, comfort, and care. I’ll absolutely be staying again next time I’m in the area!

Murwillumbah has a surprisingly good array of community services and plenty of restaurants, pubs and cafes, clothing shops, supermarket and pretty much any other type of retail you require, also, if needed a couple of hospitals. The Tweed River runs through the town, and there are some lovely drives, cycling or walking destinations to enjoy the beautiful countryside.

À town “ with heart” missing thé warmth and opportunity to shop in smaller shops with lots of character and charm in other Australian towns - Murwillumbah seems to have been able to maintain it - loved historical buildings and the countryside

Didn't see the town as we were short on time.

Didn't see the town as we were short on time. Bought a few grocery items from IGA. Exiting the car-park was a little challenge but given the time of day, expected. A local fresh produce store was also located next to the pub. Had dinner at the pub next door which was enjoyable. Dined out on the verandah looking out over the river. The manager of the motel recommended visiting the local art gallery. There were rowers on the river early in the morning. The sunsets over the mountains and river were memorable, great for budding photographers.

Nice country town with magnificent mountain views. Good restaurants. The reason we went was to see a local comedy act at Dumbible Memorial Hall and the Margaret Olley Gallery both of which were fabulous. Highly recommend the restaurant at the Gallery.

Good Markets on both Wednesday and Sunday . The cafes in the main street are very good. Choice of at least three good ones, and excellent Thai/ Vietnamese and Indian foods available at restaurants there. The Regional Gallery a few klms out on the edge of town is a must visit. Brilliant exhibitions, including Margaret Ollies' home reconstructed.

Beautiful original built Murwillumbah home with modern updates inside. It was immaculately clean. Added touches in kitchen supplies, honey , great coffee and every appliance you could ever need. View of river and Mt Warning was so relaxing. As we are avid walkers it is so well located to National Parks and all of the beautiful country villages but only a short drive to beach as well. I would recommend to anyone . Close to town, walk to in 5 minutes. Great cafes and restaurants.

Everything. The property was only a short drive drive to Murwillumbah in a perfect rural location with 2 decks to relax on and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Our host was very welcoming and the produce given to us to prepare our breakfast was generous and tasty as well as the antipasto platter on arrival and the generous bowl of chocolates. It’s a great place to stay if you’re doing the Northern Rivers Rail Trail or to just relax away from your busy life.
