Lovely little motel, very clean and well maintained. Great afterhours check-in system as we arrived late after an event we had been at all day. A little disappointed that the cafe wasn't open Sunday morning but there was a help yourself light breakfast available

Beautiful spot in loft overlooking vineyard. Bonus was meeting Mina, the resident Kelpie. Note it is about 10kms out of town, but worth the drive.

The staff were great - very friendly and helpful. Boz the new manager/publican was very helpful. He introduced us to the local in the pub and was always ready to answer questions and assist in anything that we required. The dining room had been well preserved and the menu was quite extensive for a village and compliments to the chef. We were there for two nights and couldn't fault the service, presentation and quality of the meals. One thing that was really great was the roaring fire in the outside covered area and the pizzas that were brought out as an appetizer. Thank you for a great experience.

If you are looking for a quite country town for a few days,...

If you are looking for a quite country town for a few days, Cudal would suit your purposes as its only about a 30-minute drive into Orange, 15 minute drive to Manildra, 30 minute drive to Canowindra all of which have wonderful gift shops and wineries.

A delightful country town with wide streets and some vintage...

A delightful country town with wide streets and some vintage architecture and within striking distance of Orange. I had a great time browsing in the craft store which also served scones and coffee. Several options for meals including the Bowlo and take-away shop across the road from Platypus Inn

The bowling club is open for refreshments every day from noon. The saddlery and clothing store is excellent The history of Hazelton Airlines is displayed and very informative. The district has some amazing views CUDAL is the cross roads for many intersting places within a 30km radius.
