We had a lovely stay at Cygnet Valley Hideaway. The tiny house was cosy, clean and beautifully designed, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The surrounding scenery was peaceful and beautiful, and we especially loved waking up to the lovely views. It was the perfect place to slow down and enjoy some quiet time.

Excellent location for visiting Hartz Mountain National Park. This is a beautiful old hotel well furnished and decorated. We enjoyed dinner both nights in the bar restaurant and the free continental breakfast is amazing, superior to what one might expect. I was happy they had not only gluten free bread available but also several gf cereals. The breakfast room looks out on a beautiful view of the water.

Excellent communication. Also Michelle went out of her way to accommodate everything we needed to have a successful stay with my neurodivergent relative.

Beautiful, private location with an awe-inspiring view of the Huon river and mountains beyond. The place was spotlessly clean, with modern amenities. We enjoyed the fireplace (which also provided plenty of heat), and the cloud-like bed. I usually prefer a firmer mattress but still slept like the dead. Bathtub is MASSIVE but there's plenty of hot water so no worries

I didn’t spend a time in Cygnet as I was visiting a friend, but driving through I observed some lovely shops, a twice monthly Sunday market was well patronised, and I visited Ian Clare’s pottery studio across the road from the beautiful bay. I plan to return, so I’m looking forward to checking out the other shops and local sights.

David was super nice and helpful and easily contactable. He gave us a lot of great suggestions of things to do around cygnet. We absolutely loved what David and his wife have done with the place, it was such a beautiful and cozy holiday place with great amenities and views.

Lovely linen bedding, beautiful German cake baked by Eva, great food supplies. I also had a wonderful spa bath. Very close to Cygnet, views of the water and great communication with the host. All in all an excellent experience.

We loved how comfortable the bed was. The lounge/diner/kitchenette was well stocked, and the breakfast supplies were good. The property is well positioned for travel to Bruny, Cygnet, and Huonville.
