We had a very bad experience here, but the bed was comfortable, even though the sheets smelled bad. If the kitchen had been clean, it would have been okay.

We’ve had many stays in Bendigo and surrounds and Birdsong is a great find for a short or long stay. Particularly loved the extra touches not found in other properties…homemade biscuits as a welcome gift, a basket of ‘movie night snacks’, Nespresso pod coffee and a variety of teas. A big surprise were generous breakfast provisions of eggs, bread, condiments and cereals. Communication from the owner Michelle was prompt and she was very easy to deal with. Check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Thank goodness for good air conditioning as we had 3 days over 35C and Birdsong was a great retreat from the heat!
