We had a lovely time at Michael and Tracey's place! It is located in a quiet neighbourhood where the only sounds are the birds and the waves. It is an easy 2min stroll to the beach and has has everything you could need for a relaxing getaway. There's even a jacuzzi to use, which overlooks the bushland! Michael and Tracey are incredible hosts and made our experience so enjoyable. They are both so lovely and welcoming and did whatever they could to make us feel at home. Some snacks and drinks were provided on arrival and Michael even offered us coffee every morning. They provided recommendations for places to check out during our stay and were easy to communicate with. Though they live upstairs, it still felt very private. I can't recommend this place highly enough - we will definitely be back!

Everything about this place is amazing, starting from Lin, the owner, who made us feel like we are so welcome, that it was hard to leave. The location of this spot is absolutely breathless, you just have to see the sunrise. The apartment is spacious,well-equipped, comfortable, and you can see the owner cared for every single detail. If you hesitate whether to choose it, just stop. A true refuge, when one can think, recharge, and connect with nature. Worth the climb for a number of reasons. Everyone may discover theirs.

The staff were kind, caring, and helpful. The hotel has beautiful old bones, but time has ravaged some of the finery. Beautiful old wood, but been turned into a bit of a rabbit warren. I would stay there again. The people were GREAT.

    Very clean, modern and spacious.

    Very clean, modern and spacious. Privacy was good though would have appreciated a friendly welcome by hosts. We had our dogs with us and felt we must have been breaking the rules by bringing them due to the stern looks we received from a distance along with the question..."you have dogs?" We just didn't know if they were welcome. Guidelines (if there are any) for pets could be stated on advertising, that would have made us more relaxed. Otherwise I highly recommend the standard of this retreat for a great country get away.

    Pretty & semi-rural place, elevated with sunny morning views down towards the ocean. Convenient for folks travelling up the east coast; far enough from the busy parts of town but only a few minutes drive away.

    Located north of Coffs Harbour so you do need your own...

    Located north of Coffs Harbour so you do need your own transport. Good for coastal walks, stunning Diggers beach just around the headland. Takes about 15 mins drive to get into Coffs Harbour, 45mins to Bellingen up the mountains or south to Nambucca Heads. It is quiet and you would have to drive for cafes or restaurants, plenty of eateries around the Harbour reasonable prices.
