Janelle was very pleasant and welcoming at reception and helped ensure room choice met our requirements. Room was very spacious, comfortable with armchairs and coffee table. The king bed was very comfortable, but we would have liked a choice for a slightly higher pillow - the pillows were ok, but a little thinner for our liking. Coffee and tea facilities were standard with tea bags, hot chocolate and moccona coffee sachets, but would have preferred coffee bags or pod coffee - but again that’s a personal; preference not a great criticism. Shower and bathroom was great. Springs is close to shops (supermarkets, cafes and Maccas is right behind the Motel) and the Mittagong RSL is right on site for breakfasts and dinners etc, so great location. Overall a great experience above expectations

The room was exceptional. The food was excellent. Parking behind hotel was easy. We had a medical incident while out walking band the head staff person was amazing with the assistance he gave us.

Was an easy check in and comfy bed to snuggle into. There was yummy coffee around the corner at Double J to enjoy the morning after. I enjoyed the stay and following morning.

Great location, clean, comfortable and well-sized room (with tub). Staff were lovely and there was very little traffic noise despite having a room facing a main road. Very good value.

The gateway to the Southern Highlands and an ideal town to use as a base for exploring the region. Well served by pubs and restaurants as well as boutique shops and major supermarkets. Recommended places to eat are The Mittagong Hotel ( standard pub fare plus some dishes which are a cut above if you want something a bit extra - e.g. 800gm Bistecca) and Mittagong RSL. Go to the Gumnut Bakery in Mittagong itself to get cakes and pastries freshly baked and avoid the crowds at Bowral and Berrima.

MITTAGONG, MOSS VALE AND THE HIGHLANDS IN GENERAL ARE VERY PRETTY , KIND AND WELCOMING PEOPLE, SCENERY WAS SPECTACULAR. THE AUTUMN COLOURS STUNNING. A RELAX AND NO STRESS NO RUSHING PLACE. TAKE AWAY IS ABUNDANT AND VARIES. THINGS TO DO AND SEE ARE ENDLESS. PET FRIENDLY PLACES ARE SUCH FUN AS WE ALWAYS MEET NEW AND WONDERFUL PEOPLE WHO LOVE THEIR DOGS AS MUCH AS WE DO. WILL RETURN FOR MUCH LONGER IN SPRING. APPARENTLY IS GORGEOUS THEN TOO. YIPEE X 3

Lovely town - much quieter than Bowral etc.

Lovely town - much quieter than Bowral etc. Great base to explore the surrounding towns and bushland. We did a lovely walk down to the creek, behind the PCYC. We also drove up to the lookouts at sunset time - Mt Gibraltar - very spectacular!

I love Mittagong, a town that feels like you are really part...

I love Mittagong, a town that feels like you are really part of the Highlands. The community is friendly and the local pubs are full of characters up for a chat at the end of the day - its cool / cold in Winter and makes you feel alive. A beautiful town.

A great place to stay to explore the Southern Highlands, located 30 minutes out of Campbelltown in Sydney and not too long out of Goulburn. Very nice sport for cafes, wine, antique, country shopping, and scenic drives. Close to a number of good hikes at lookouts / waterfalls

Good stopover / halfway point between Brisbane/ Toowoomba ( original origin ) and Melbourne ( final destination ) - right on the highway so easy to locate. Good facilities -shops, dining , huge RSL with good meals

It is a beautiful eclectic space with lovely outdoor areas.The host went above & beyond to accommodate us when we arrived a day too early ( our fault) The breakfast was very generous & we loved the interaction with the other guests in the morning. It is on the main road into Mittagong but no traffic noise reaches the accomodation.A couple of good eating places within walking distance & a good hiking trail .

Location, Ambience, room, bedding, wash room, value for money. The room was as good as you find in a Five star hotel plus a garden facing balcony with convenience of parking right in front of your door, The Toilet and bath facilities were just amazing and the property looked to be recently refurbished. Couldn't fault on anything at all!

The hotel is right in the middle of Mittagong and a short walk from the station. The single room was fairly spacious. The management cheerfully refunded the double charging for the room.
