Excellent renovated small hotel / motel accommodation, new, clean, high quality, well decorated, friendly owners who run businesses by themselves. I do recommend, good stop at the end of Great Ocean road and see sunset at the Bay of Islands! Dinner also was good, simple but very good.

Love it so much ended up staying an extra night , peaceful great river view . Could have never left everything was perfect great chalet with everything you needed , if I could afford it I would have tried to buy it!! We will be back was fantastic

Don't let the small hamlet atmosphere fool you - there's a lot to do and see in Peterborough. I mean, what a location! Wild beaches and protected bays, at the mouth of the Curdies River and a freshwater lake. There's lots of wonderful places to stay - we stayed at the Seahorse Villas and it was perfect - location, facilities, booking etc. The locals are so nice and the food is delicious, But the location - the golf course is spectacular, the coastline is spectacular. Peterborough really packs a punch while retaining its quiet, sunny, beach town vibe.

Close to Great Ocean Road attractions, but Peterborough has...

Close to Great Ocean Road attractions, but Peterborough has little in the way of food and dining options. We had to drive 15mins back to Port Campbell to have dinner and breakfast. Would be fine if you plan to self cater in accommodation with a kitchen. Very nice scenery.

Peterborough is a lovely smaller town which takes you away...

Peterborough is a lovely smaller town which takes you away from the hussell and bussell of busy Port Campbell, but still being within 12 kilometres for easy visiting. The beach is beautiful and very accessable and the views are breath taking where ever you go along the Bay of Islands Coastal Park.

Peterborough was good for a central location for visiting...

Peterborough was good for a central location for visiting other places within 90 minutes. It was a nice quiet place. We enjoyed our hotel / inn meal on the day we arrived. It would have been good to have a few other eating options but Port Campbell was not too far away. Nice quiet place to visit and get away from the crowds.

The place was beautiful.

The place was beautiful. Unfortunately we had to come home due to the Government locking us down it was very disappointing as I didn't want to leave. Even worse we didn't get our money back for the night we were not there for. My partner has had no work due to COVID and it was his birthday weekend to not receive my money back I cried all the way home. It was not my fault.

Light, spacious, clean and very comfortable suite, which had lots of little touches we appreciated. The location is great in quiet Peterborough, just down the road from Port Campbell, but still very convenient to the main attractions of the Great Ocean Road. Breakfast was included and Andrew and his friendly staff make great coffee and they offer dinner, which we enjoyed on our first night. Delicious! Andrew also made some great suggestions about how we could best spend our two days in the area! Thank you!

Wow, this is such a great place to stay for who wants to be in a quiet and comfortable place! Not in the middle of the busy touristic spots but near enough to visit them by car. And with wonderful short hikes to do around! The apartment is clean, quiet and comfortable, it was a perfect stay!
