We enjoyed a trip to Point Nepean and its historic fort as well as other historic building in the area. Millionaires' Walk is well worth seeking out (not very well signposted as the millionaires probably prefer you didn't find their slice of paradise!). Dinner options were limited in the area as we were a little late heading out due to enjoying sightseeing before the sun set. We ate at the Chopstix Noodle Bar in Sorrento but didn't enjoy it very much. One of the pubs would probably have been a better choice in hindsight. Next day, a snack and coffee at the Vanilla Slice Cafe in Sorrento more than made up for the disappointing dinner.

The Portsea Hotel was a nice Hotel to stay in and different to the big city hotels we had been used to. The room have been recently refurbished and were very clean and tidy. It had most things for our comfort. I would definitely recommend staying here if you can.

    Fabulous property even in winter.

Fabulous property even in winter. Great restaurant, pizzeria, bar. Undercover outdoor areas to enjoy a drink etc. views out over the water from our room were gorgeous also a private balcony with table and chairs was enjoyed. Walking to the beach, shops, pier, easy and close. Parking over the road from the venue although quite close. Would have preferred breakfast to be available and a toaster in the apartment perhaps, in addition or instead of a coffee machine. Will definitely visit again.

    Beautiful views and location.

Beautiful views and location. If your looking for a relaxing getaway highly recommended staying at the Portsea golf club. The Brekky was delicious and they coffee was too ( they also use almond lab milk ) the staff are lovely and the rooms spacious. The bed was very comfortable also. A little dated could use a little freshen up however overall beautiful.

Portsea is a wonderful place to experience beach life in Victoria. Head to the pier and turn left - this is a great place to swim/snorkel. Check out Limani for coffee, the best spanakopita and cool vibes.
