Located in Queanbeyan, within 5.4 miles of Canberra Railway Station and 6 miles of Manuka Oval, Hotel Queanbeyan Canberra provides accommodations with a bar as well as free private parking for guests... The staff were wonderful - welcoming and very accommodating, their assistance was greatly appreciated. The facilities were clean and a lovely place to stay within easy reach of Canberra. Thank you so much!
Just 15 minutes' drive from the heart of Canberra, BreakFree Queanbeyan offers an outdoor swimming pool, barbecue facilities and an on-site restaurant. very clean modern look to the room and liked how the bar fridge and cups//spoons/kettle, etc were hidden behind smooth shiny cupboard doors. Shower head was excellent and water was nice and hot for our showers.
Located on a quiet street facing Queanbeyan Park, Parkway Motel offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. I have been staying there for over 15 years on an irregular basis. The newest owners have made great improvements to each of the units there & I highly recommend other travellers to stay there. The owners go out of their way to assist at all times.
Queanbeyan Motel is located a short 5-minute walk from Queanbeyan’s central business district and a 15-minute drive from the Canberra Airport. It offers a barbecue area and free parking on site. The Motel was small yet very clean and comfortable! The facilities are superb and I’ve enjoyed my two nights of stay there. The rates were also far lower compared to the bigger hotels in CBD Canberra. I booked very late via booking.com from Brisbane International Airport and hoped on a cab straight and the reception was phenomenal!
Located in the heart of Queanbeyan, Mid City Motor Inn guests enjoy free Wi-Fi. All rooms feature flat-screen TVs, a microwave, and a fridge. It was wonderful to have a little bottle of milk instead of those awful tiny UHT's. The place was lovely and clean. The heater was on and the room warm (very cold weather of late). It was practically next door to the conference, which was fantastic. They let us leave the cars there until the afternoon after booking out in the morning. This is the first time and went to the conference and I would immediately book there again. Thank you.
The place is very clean and the town is well looked after. Has great parks and fantastic walking paths. Everything is easy to get too. Had dinner at the Tourist Hotel. This exceeded our expectations. Well worth going and trying the hot rock where you cook the meat yourself. Easy place to get around. Had breakfast both days at a Cafe over near Spotlight. The meals fantastic. Worth a visit. It looks like it is a family operated business.
I lived in Queanbeyan for many years and was visiting. The town is easy to navigate and there is a regular bus service into Canberra City. The are many outlets for eating and its a pleasant walk along the river.
Heat only heat I can put against this hotel is the shower. The shower is designed for short people and the shower head plastic parts have been damaged by the hot water. I love a warm shower, not too hot, and the heat available in the shower is in abundance which I reckon you could boil an egg. I would come again though as this shower head, above described is not definately not a deterrent, just an idea for improvement, and it is good the feel like a giant just that once in a while.
Queanbeyan is an excellent place to stay when you are a pensioner or just mindful of saving money. It’s much cheaper to stay there than Canberra but access to Canberra is swift, efficient and just a short drive. As for convenience of shops to suit all needs there’s no doubt Queanbeyan has it. Next time we go we’ll visit some of the attractions that we didn’t get to see last time.
This motel clearly states it has Foxtel but it doesn’t the wifi is weak and walls paper thin I could hear people upstairs and beside us one bed was hard one was soft , the room felt to small and the parking isn’t suitable for a 4wd or a longer car or even a middle sized car it would suit a tiny car or motorbike !! The room was very clean and the owners friendly but that is all I can say good about it !!!
My sister and I enjoyed our stay in Queanbeyan. We had a lovely dinner at one of the hotels on the main street, called the Tourist Hotel. Really delightful and helpful staff and good food. Would recommend the Tourist Hotel in Queanbeyan.
Just needed a bed for the night. Breakfree is central to everything in Queanbeyan, in a nice quiet location, comfortable beds and extremely clean, serviced by super friendly and welcoming people who I presume are the owners. Continental breakfast was adequate, a freshly made expresso coffee was available. Didn't use the pool but as pool owners, we noted that the pool was absolutely in top condition. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.
This has been the best motel in Queanbeyan I have stayed at. Bed comfortable, bathroom facilities were great, including shower temperature and pressure. TV is at right height to watch whilst sitting. Lounge comfortable and table and chairs an added bonus. Enjoyed the working freezer (great for ice creams) and microwave as well as decent plates and cups sizes to allow meals in room. Plenty of parking.
Absolutely everything. I can't recommend this property more highly, and price wise- it's matched up to the other properties in the area. I can say this is the best Motel in Queanbeyan. I will be recommending it. I look forward to next time.
we travel to the snow fields and need to break up the very long drive, rest and recover to continue to the snow ....the crest is close to everything in queanbeyan,. for us, it is great, will be going again.
The staff were wonderful - welcoming and very accommodating, their assistance was greatly appreciated. The facilities were clean and a lovely place to stay within easy reach of Canberra. Thank you so much!
Hamilton’s have good sized rooms with good facilities such as fridge and microwave. They are close to the Queanbeyan CBD and only a short drive to all the attractions of Canberra
To answer that question there was no breakfast. But I didn't expect one as not advertised . . Would definitely recommend this
Clean rooms, pet friendly were the most important factors. Close to the town center and other major locations in Canberra.
