Pets allowed Still quite a modern interior in the room. Location. I left my belt in the room which was found and taken to the front office for my collection on the way back- very grateful for that!

location was perfect as it was 100 meters from where we were going.
Staff went out of his way to ensure Pool area was prepared for our family dip. (Very happy)

I stayed in Queanbeyan as an alternative to staying in Canberra where I had an appointment. Queanbeyan is a very pleasant city with good amenities, all facilities and in close proximity to Canberra. It is, in my opinion, more friendly and easier to get around.

Our first time visiting had us low in expectation for the most recent trip we had, but it seemed to be an entirely different town this time! Friendly locals, clean look, many food and stay options, family friendly and felt moderately safe. Leisure activities may have lacked, but Canberra is just next door, so that was no issue for us.
An overall pleasant town and worthy of visiting.

The place is very clean and the town is well looked after. Has great parks and fantastic walking paths. Everything is easy to get too.
Had dinner at the Tourist Hotel. This exceeded our expectations. Well worth going and trying the hot rock where you cook the meat yourself.
Easy place to get around.
Had breakfast both days at a Cafe over near Spotlight. The meals fantastic. Worth a visit. It looks like it is a family operated business.

Heat only heat I can put against this hotel is the shower.
Heat only heat I can put against this hotel is the shower. The shower is designed for short people and the shower head plastic parts have been damaged by the hot water. I love a warm shower, not too hot, and the heat available in the shower is in abundance which I reckon you could boil an egg.
I would come again though as this shower head, above described is not definately not a deterrent, just an idea for improvement, and it is good the feel like a giant just that once in a while.

Motel was pet friendly and only a short flat walk to all the amenities of Queanbeyan. The room was clean and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately the kettle that worked failed at dinner to boil water. Was replaced promptly by a brand new kettle the next morning. We had misplaced some medical tablets and I was phoned shortly after our departure they had found a packet of tablets when they were cleaning. We were pleased and returned to pick up the tablets.
Really good quality older style motel in the heart of Queanbeyan. Had everything we needed. Great to have microwave and plates, cutlery etc so you could do your own breakfast. Everything very clean, and very nice owners.
Location is outside Canberra but that's OK. You need a car to get around anyway. Public transport is nearly non-existent. Unit is budget but comfortable. Canberra is expensive.
Extremely clean, rooms cleaned daily. Fair sized room. Quiet area. Close enough to walk to town. Not a far drive from most attractions in Canberra. Plenty of parking available.
