Emu Lodge Country Retreat is located in Lal Lal and offers a garden and a terrace. The property was clean. The breakfast basket was very generous. Owners were very hospitable. Nice and quite place.

Set among lovely gardens, Dunstans Guest House offers accommodations featuring a spa bath and cozy fireplace. Guests can relax outdoors on the patio. The property is beautifully decorated with a lot of attention to detail. It has real Olde Worlde Heritage Charm but with modern conveniences. Very clever use of the space made it very comfortable for four of us to enjoy our weekend. All the furniture was comfortable to sit/ sleep on It is very well equipped with good quality appliances. The towels and linen supplied were really good and there were lovely little extra touches (little chocolate bars, milk and freshly ground coffee in the fridge, generous supplies of tea bags) left to make us feel welcome Access to the property was easy and Denise was always quick to respond to any messages. She made us feel very welcome even tho’ we didn’t meet in person. There is a good shopping precinct in easy walking distance for getting groceries and it is only a 10 - 15 minute drive to the main areas of Ballarat, the house is in a nice quiet street so it was a very convenient and peaceful location.

Kryal Castle is a Medieval Adventure Park and Resort that offers a unique combination of entertainment and accommodations. All rooms have free WiFi. Very clean, well sign posted. Hotel quality with added character of been a castle. Grounds tidy and staff very helpful. We travel without children and older age demographic and enjoy our stay with the character, the atmosphere, the rooms heated, great bathroom. Recommend for all, add a little difference to your stay. Restaurants not too far either!

Tangles, featuring a garden, is located in Ballarat, 1.8 mi from Ballarat Train Station and 1.6 mi from Her Majesty's Ballarat. This is our third stay at Tangles, Tania is a great host and she takes care of all the small details and responds to messages quickly, very accommodating. We love that we can take our dogs with us on holiday, she also caters for them, another added touch. The property is clean and has everything you need for a great stay 😁 Thank you Tania!

Surrounded by spacious gardens with a swimming pool and barbecue area, the Begonia City Motor Inn is just 3 miles from the center of Ballarat. Room very clean, bed a little hard along with pillows. Great place to stay however, will take own pillow next time.

Set on 55 acres of lovely gardens, Club Wyndham Ballarat, Trademark Collection by Wyndham features a tennis court, an indoor pool and a hot tub. The apartments are spacious and well appointed. The facilities (e.g. pool, lake with canoes and paddle boats) were appreciated by all the family. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Just 2 minutes’ walk from the famous Sovereign Hill Museum, Best Western Plus Ballarat Suites offers spacious air-conditioned suites with flat-screen satellite TV and a DVD player. loved it all, Probably the best and most well maintained motel I have stayed in. I do prefer a firm pillow, that would be the only thing I could comment on, they were all squishy.
