Extremely cosy and nostalgic. The place is very well taken care of, a lot of heart and care has been put into it. Linda was very kind and lovely to have a chat with, and she respects the privacy of guests during the stay. Also great value for the stay, with plenty of sights nearby. Very happy, and highly recommend

Somerville is well positioned to explore all of the Mornington Peninsula. It is semi-rural community with easy access to roads that lead to all parts of the area. The commercial hub of Somerville has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Places we visited that would be of interest to majority of travelers include Moonlit Sanctuary, Point Leo Sculpture Park, Arthur's Seat & The Briars property at Mount Martha. Like a 'tipple'? - that is well catered for too.

Somerville being centrally located with the basic amenities is a good location to base yourself for day trip visiting across the Peninsular. Wide variety of eateries for all any hunger and taste. You do need your own transport.
