Surrounded by lush tropical gardens, adults-only Hove To B&B features self-contained studios with a private patio. Guests enjoy an outdoor pool, free WiFi and included breakfast. 0 Star-Totally appalled how it got a 9.6 rating that sucked us into dismay! Booked 2N for biz. Owner didn't know how to take payment on cc, wasted 1hr & still got charged $6 cc surcharge. Nightmare begins after a long day of travelling & work, “greeted” by an aged, rundown, musty smelling cabin with zinc-roofed ceiling “decorated” by dirty/rusty ceiling fan, 2 “raw” fluorescent tubes lighted "The Shed". A stand fan was provided as there was NO a/c. Flipping up the toilet bowl, brown water with 2 small pieces of human poop to our horror. Basin covered with dust and dead bodies of insects, corner of bathroom bench top had a pile of mess (spider web/feces/eggs). The bed had a disgusting weird smell especially near the bedhead we had to switch around to the other end. Bed time, a gecko appeared right in front of us above the wardrobe & scared the hell out of wife. When she finally calmed down & lights off, mosquito started buzzing around our ears. We had the stand fan on full blast directly at the top of our heads to keep it out. The poorly-fitted-hard-to-open/close door had a transparent glass strip shining bright light from the room directly opposite. All above coupled with super heavy rain orchestrating on the uninsulated zinc roof. I SMS owner @1am explaining we are having a terrible time & requested to cancel 2nd night for a refund so we can go elsewhere. Both of us hardly caught any wink and I had to work on high voltage machine next day. Owner agreed to refund 2nd night while he keeps the cc surcharge plus agent commission as he claimed he needs to pay booking.com even if the booking is cancelled. 1hr later, money not received as he needs to have his breakfast while we waited. While waiting, decided to make some tea, to find the dust covered kettle half-filled with water and a dead baby cockroach. Oh how exciting.

Amore On Buderim is set within a large rainforest, and offers luxury cabins with an in-room spa and log fire. It’s only an 8-minute drive to the beaches of Mooloobala. The view, the feel of the cabin & the setup was wonderful. Worth the value & made our first wedding anniversary perfect. Visits from a mumma kangaroo & her Joey were a bonus too.

Mostly what we liked the fact your family pet dog can stay. The room we stayed in was tidy but very small bathroom and the power keeped blowing which ment no running water also. In fairness the owner keeped having to fix it as he had to reboot it.
It was great that the shops were just up the road also there was a botanical gardens not far from where we were staying. If you are looking for somewhere peaceful and relaxing this is the place to go.
Loved the tranquil area, lovely pancake setup, the visiting parrots were gorgeous. Close to the beach and to the Hinterlands. The only problem we had was unsafe bunk beds, and the swing fell over onto the kids.
Our visit was only to visit family who all work, so on this occasion we only managed to visit them and do things on Saturday and Sunday. We did like the fact so many things are nearby, if we could have stayed longer. My husband does not drive, so I do the driving and I would have to learn my way around before I became too adventurous. Neither of us are used to the volume of traffic in the area. We ate at our sons residence and shopping centres, As we are aged pensioners, we are not into young peoples activities, but we did visit Australia Zoo. I found Tanawha easy to get around by myself, but my husband cannot cope in places he is not familiar with.
Was very comfortable. Staff were friendly. Room was so clean.
