Providing garden views, Triabunna Barracks in Triabunna provides accommodations, a bar, a shared lounge and a garden. The bed and breakfast features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The owners had completed renovated an 1840’s barracks to the most incredible standard. Every detail had been meticulously thought out. I was truly amazed at the workmanship. Everything was extremely comfortable including our king size bed. The breakfast was fantastic - freshly cooked and loads of choice. I could not recommend this accommodation more highly.
In addition to providing direct access to a beach and fishing jetty, Eastcoaster Tasmania features an indoor swimming pool, a hot tub, a tennis court and a basketball court. It was great the second time we have stayed great location, facilities and really nice food at the restaurant. We will stay there again.
Facing the beachfront, Orford Blue Waters Hotel offers 3-star accommodations in Orford and features a restaurant, bar and garden. I only stayed a night as passing through on my bike but I had a great restaurant meal and my room was very neat and tidy. A continental breakfast was also available in my room for an early departure.
Located in Little Swanport in the Tasmania region, Wind Song Bed & Breakfast has accommodations with free private parking. Amazing property stayed her with my 5YO on route to Freycinet. We saw wallabies and fed possums. The hosts were fantastic, nothing was a problem. Fabulous customer experience would definitely visit again.
We had had a long day driving from Launceston,so it was nice to be greeted by the friendly hosts, who gave us our breakfast packs and the keys to our room. We found the room to be large with one double and a single bed. Modernly and tastefully decorated the room had the usual car entrance where we could back right up but then once inside the room had very large glass panels and another door that opened onto a grassy garden area. Excellent value for money.
The park is in a good location and walking distance to the information centre, pub and eateries. The staff were friendly and helpful. The loft room was a great room and very enjoyable. The Wi Fi worked well.
Very quiet town. Scenic and relaxing. Great fish n chip van. Hotel. Iga. Take away. Chemist. Fishing village. Looks like there were galleries and an art workshop. But we didn't get there in time. Ferry to Maria island leaves regularly .
Triabunna is a small very friendly fishing village that has now become a yachting marina. Maria Island is a huge attraction here with the ferry leaving from here on the half hour cruise out to sea from the jetty. Maria Island is a car free National park that is virtually a treasure chest of protected species of Aussie animals for us to be able to walk among in a wild state. Wombats everywhere . so cute, wallabys Tasmanian devils and the bush walks range from easy to quite hard. Something for everyone. The Cruise, Spirit of Maria, cruise right around the island and you get to see cliffs, caves fossil cliffs and beautiful beaches in a full day cruise. We are going again.
Cute little town - gateway to Maria Island - highly recommend seeing the island while the overseas tourists aren't around! The Fish Van has amazing fish and chips and we walked everywhere from our accomodation - very convenient.
Great location for the ferry to Maria Island, clean and well appointed for a short stay . A bit cold at night (Mar)but electric blankets make up for it. Spring Bay hotel nearby is a great pub and the Fish and Chip van is also really good
