The wide open spaces, the tranquil shores and the friendly people all made the stay enjoyable and memorable. Bruce's cafe on the foreshore was exceptional. The Vault had lovely food. We explored the area all the way over to the west coast, and past Launceston, but we both felt the area around Wynyard was very special.

The pod was excellent. we would have liked to have spent more time in the reading room but the weather was too good so we were out exploring. It was very comfortable and had a great view of the water. We did nice morning walks along the river and the beach. Very close to good dining facilities and shops. It was nice being able to walk to these.
We would definitely stay in a pod next time as well.

It's small country town with reasonable facilities.
It's small country town with reasonable facilities. I used Public Library for my personal matters and the staff were very supportive and friendly. I visited nearest light house and Table Cape. It was a very beautiful location and can spend all day with a family.

Wynyard is located in a very picturesque part of Tasmania and provides a good place to stay to further explore the other areas of the north west coast.
The town has all the facilities you need, with two supermarkets, two hotels, banks as well as several eateries, clothing shops and second hand stores to name just a few.

Enjoyed the Thai restaurant very nice food ,enjoyed the breakfast in town also at the river side hotel, we went at the wrong time holiday week end all shops shut ,market on the sea front was very interesting bought a few items.

The accommodation is very low key in terms of external appearance, but once we walked in, we were so delighted with the way the apartment was furnished and set up. We loved the way the owners retained some elements of 60s/70s design, but updated it in the kitchen and bathroom. The owners have clearly put lots of thought into making this comfortable for visitors, including a night light in the hallway. The location was also good, as Wynyard is a lovely town.

yummy breakfast delivered by happy cheerful Rachael who makes sure your stay has everything you need . Room was well presented and cosy nice laying in bed in morning listening to the birds chirping
