Yamba is a very pretty coastal town with a lot to do. We walked everywhere and stopped for lunch at some lovely cafes or you can grab takeaway and eat at the picnic tables in the park near the beaches Ferry across to Iluka for a walk around the town followed by a nice lunch with a glass of wine before catching the ferry back to Yamba is a must. We stayed at The Sands Resort in an apartment with a view of Pipi Beach which has a pool, spa and BBQ Area.GailAustralia - Scored 8.08.0

When i visited Yamba is was hammering down with rain which i guess is unusual. It made my short stay a bit bland as the beach was off and the town was very wet. However, i noticed two very busy restaurants, a nice little collection of shops and takeaways. a few drinking holes etc. Id say when the sun is shining it looks a 100% more appealing. Im told the surfing is great but not my thing. wortha visit if youre a surfer or just travelling up the coast. lots of waterways, pelicand, wildlife. Its just off the highway so easy access and when youre there you feel like youre in the middle of nowhere so that works! Worth a trip for 2-4 days in my opinion.

Lovely place to spend a week or more for a summer holiday. Local restaurants are varied and offer good quality food and service. Yamba is the most delightful place, I would live there if I could. Everything is so convenient. Restaurants are great, and I very rarely come home without a new pair of shoes - the shoe shop is excellent.

There are plenty of restaurants and the pub within walking distance.
