Diegem is a suburb of Brussels located near the airport. It happens to be where the hotel is located; otherwise it is not a tourist destination. I remained at the hotel for the duration of my stay (1 night) and did not spend any time elsewhere in Diegem.

I travel here for work on a regular basis. There is not a lot here. Its just a dormitory zone for airport hotels. There is a small town, its very local, but there are restaurants including a good Italian and of course a Friterie !

Every experience was great. if I had to complain about anything which would be hard, it would simply be that there was no coffee making facility in the room. but the hotel experience was great and the staff were amazing.

You can choose this place in case you have a early morning flight from Brussels airport. The one person at the reception was friendly and cooperative but the other staff had called us and insisted to check out from the room at 1pm where we have requested the manager that we would leave the hotel by 3pm during checking in. But anyways no complaint. I felt there was a confusion.

Close to the airport and the public bus route 272 from the airport stopped 400 metres from the hotel. Bus stop we learnt was Diegem Kennedy and you had to tell the bus driver that. I had a fall in the shower and the hotel managed the situation a very helpful and caring way. We stayed again on our return to Brussels to fly out. First question on return was to check how I had recovered from the fall. Wow.

Everything was great! We also received a free room upgrade + free breakfast, which was very nice (we were selected as the customer of the day), wish we could've stayed longer! Diegem train station is just in front of the hotel, free airport shuttle very handy as well!

Likewise, you can walk 10 minutes to Zervetem station from the hotel to connect metro to anywhere if you want to save a few euros on transportation.
