Hotels near Atomium, Brussels

The Atomium was very disappointing for us, as a family woth kid - just 2-3 dark escalators with some flashlights on them and 2 floors with music and light.. not at all entertaining for a kid, would not recommend it!

Please, do not accept the offer if a stranger offer you to take a photo. They would trick you. My bag was stolen when one of them offered me to take photo which I placed on the ground. You can get easily theft here. The police does nothing. They did not even file my report. They suggested me to look around the bush if they have left after taking the valuables. Luckily my passport, cards and documents were in my wallet.

DON'T MISS THIS!! It closes at six. Try to allow at least an hour and a half to take it in and have time to read the plaques etc... Great light shows in some of the balls and escalators. Restaurant on top opens at 7 pm. pricey and you need a reservation if you want a window seat.

+ Impresionant asa cum stiam. - are adaugat in pretul biletului si muzeul ADAM care nu merita bagat in seama ca este o mare baraca in curs de amenajare, inca nu se poate numi muzeu deci mai bine ar reduce pretul biletului la Atomium

When you arrive - do not waste your time taking pictures from the first front view, if you go around it, you can find a grass park in front of it and pictures are much better from that perspective + not many people go there, because they all want to have their picture taken ASAP. :)

Brilliant place. However, be aware that to explore it properly there are no lifts or escalators, you will have to walk through the whole thing. Not a big deal, but if you're unwell or differently abled you may have problems as there are a lot of stairs.
