Stara Zagora is a wonderful city. There is so many attractions that you can attend to. There is a zoo, there are many parks where you can go for a walk or to relax. It is a pleasure to walk down on the streets. There are so many bars, cafes, restaurants, bakeries, stores and even couple of malls. You must visit Starazagorski Bani.It is a magical place. Stara Zagora is a lovely city to spend time in. Has everything you need (once you know where to go!). Lots of bars and restaurants with a variety of food choices. A great place to eat is Uniquato and for desserts, Nedelya cafe is a must! The high street is clean, always busy, fun for people watching. Perfect place for both a short and a longer holiday - musts are the Roman forum and at least the nearby history museum and art gallery. The Neolithic dwellings museum is a walking distance away from the centre. The pedestrian and bazaar areas are full of nice cafes and restaurants. I'm guessing people have a specific reason to go there. I had one, which was travelling and performing with the choir I'm in. I really liked Stara Zagora and I would go back again. I was there for 1 night for business.
I was there for 1 night for business. The hotel is in a horrible place between a building site, a housing estate and behind a damp yard and a dilapidated facade. It looks nothing like on the photo and the proprietors should be fined for deformation. I hwve taken photographs as an evidence. However, I know the booking.com will do nothing to refind my money, so i am not going to fight for my losses. Close to the high street (10 min walking distance) to lots of bars, restaurants and shops. There was air conditioning in the living room, a big fridge, very clean bathroom and soap provided. Also a parking space in the building courtyard. Self check in was smooth and we were met by a friendly man in the building to show us where to go!
