Pousada & Parada Olhos D'água has a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, a bar and garden in Bom Retiro. The air-conditioned rooms provide a garden view and come with a wardrobe and free WiFi. Excellent stay. Clean and comfortable room a with solar heated water to take a warm and cozy bath. The place is well maintained with a nice garde, small lake, a pool to refresh and a barbecue area. It’s a nice option if you’re traveling trough this MG-448 road or if you’re traveling to Rio or Belo Horizonte through BR-040, it really worth the small detour.
Featuring a shared lounge, Village Plaza Hotel is set in Barbacena and also provides a garden and a terrace. THE best place to stay between Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte. Nice rooms, great staff, excellent internet, a nice pizza restaurant across the street!
Near downtown Barbacena, Hotel Serra Das Vertentes offers comfortable rooms with cable TV. It provides guests with free Wi-Fi and free parking as well. OYO Hotel Serra das Vertentes provides nice accomodation close to Barbacena's center and facilities. Large room, comfortable beds, an excellent bathroom and a frigo - always good. Apart from the quality of OYO standard, the hotel is run by attentive staff . Fair price, excellent breakfest and a magnificent view. Great choice for family stays.
The city does not have any tourist attraction. Just the railway station with a restaurant in a disabled car. But it was closed for construction. And it had rained, so the environment was very flooded. I read something about a dam that locals use for leisure. It is after a humble neighborhood. And it's too ugly! Not worth going there. It's a bridge with a river running down and a lot of people fishing. Very ugly indeed!
I found the city very badly treated and dirty and with few leisure options, Good even was the hotel Farm sunrise!
It is always worth traveling and getting to know the history of our country better, valuing what is ours. I met Santos Dumont due to the itinerary of the Royal Road. Walking from Ouro Preto to Petrópolis, overall it was a great walk, where you eat very well and spend little.
So perfect place to rest very green and tranquility which left to be desired not to have a fridge in the rooms.
We do not know the city.We stayed at the hotel the whole time. The little we walked we noticed that the streets and sidewalks are too narrow.
I did not know the city because I was passing through, but from what I could see where we passed and a very pleasant city
Wonderful location with an incredible view, the Lurdinha is exceptional and I intend to return more often.
