Cidade pequena e aconchegante. Povo local bem educado e pronto a auxiliar.
The freshly painted facades and architecture of the old buildings is amazing and the people are so friendly. Many restaurants suiting all tastes. Horse and cart tours around the city and a cool vintage steam train that runs typically on Fridays and weekends. A great story of Tiradentes runs through the old city. Rocky and cobbled streets make walking a little slow and difficult for some but well worth the extra effort to walk the city for its sights and smells. Only wished we could of stayed another day.
Excelentes restaurantes idem.

We really liked to stay with Stefano in his house in Tiradentes. He is an Italian Brasilian and speaks English, too. The room was really beautifully prepared for us. Both the bath room and the room were spacious and some details made the stay really pleasant and enjoyable for us (warm bed sheets, a hair dryer, a snack with some sweets banana warer and cake, the pool and plenty of fresh towels). Stefano was a really friendly and helpful host to us providing us with some excellent food recommendations!

First of all, the location is beautiful. You can stay in a very straight contact to nature. This is in fact a new thing about staying near Tiradentes. You can have wonderful walkings in the woods and all the countryside. Then, one can have a very particular experience with the architecture, very interesting and cozy. The owners are quite spontaneous and very friendly, as Simone and Robinho, who do the hard work, who are great!

There are some many pousadas in Tiradentes. Particularly, this is my second time in Pousada Mãe D´água. Surely it depends on the traveller´s profile, but for me, logistics is essential. And just parking the car and being able to do everything on foot, for me it´s priceless. I do hope to be lodged again at Mãe D´água next time I visit this adorable city Tiradentes.

The room was small, but comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing! I couldn't stop eating Pão-de-Queijo with a tasty papaya jam. Tiradentes is very small and the Hotel was close to the main square and the bus station. We visited all attractions on foot. I would definitely stay here again.
