Very Clean, not much furniture to sit comfortably and watch a show. One bedroom closets were missing the rod and hangers or even shelves to unpack or hang up stuff.

I came for business in a town over and the choice between staying in the tourist area and staying in quiet Zurich was an easy one. I felt comfortable coming and going at weird hours even due to work. I could pretty easily control the temperature with the windows, fan, and bedding. The lack of wifi was no problem for me but the option for a hot spot was very thoughtful. I guarantee that I got a better, more peaceful rest here than my boss did at the resort. I opted for mostly cold breakfast offerings as I had to be gone before 6am and found them to be sufficient. Being here for a much longer time than the usual vacationer, I found it to be a peaceful respite from the demand of my work. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a warm welcome and a quiet retreat that is still only a stones throw from the excitement of the beach.

We had a great relaxing time at Port Franks getaway. From the moment we got into the Romantic Suite cottage, there was a calming music playing on the background, we saw a beautiful and clean cottage with meticulous details around it like champagne, freshly bread loaf and fun size chocolates! It’s was our first time in Lambton Shores and we were impressed with lots of nature with calm surroundings. Jim and Katie were very kind to lend us their bikes so we didn’t have to pack ours, we enjoyed very much our bike rides. We also took advantage of the sauna and hot tub that were available for us, we particularly liked the privacy when using them. We also enjoyed the Grand Bend beach which was just a 10-15 minutes drive.
