It was Canada day, we were looking for a restaurant, hard to find. As I turned off the pavement toward a place where some cars were parked, my car bottomed out, bam! I didn't see that drop coming. The city should never have such a drop off of pavement in town! I was too upset to stop and take a picture of it. I drove a short way and made sure my oil pan wasn't leaking......

We found it very touristy and trendy. And even at this time of year the traffic was terrible. Having said that, we did enjoy our stay and would highly recommend The Watershed restaurant which sits right on Squamish River.

It's a lot less touristy and frenetic than Whistler - so glad we stayed here and not there. Good variety of restaurants. And when the weather finally cleared the day we left we were able to get up the amazing Sea to Sky Gondola for fabulous views - it's jolly expensive and we only had time to do a couple of the short hikes - but still worth it. We also enjoyed driving out north and south to the various waterfalls and also discovering the Squamish Spit and Estuary - where we watched lots of otters frolicking.

It is a working and active town but that is what we like...real! Lovely views of the mountains and The Chief from everywhere in town. Small friendly shops and cafes. Plenty of outdoor activities on the doorstep. Really enjoyed a full day on the trails at the Sea to Sky Gondola Nothing negative to say...loved Squamish!

Relatively quiet by UK standards with pleasant, not too busy streets in downtown area. Good range of facilities within the city but spread over quite a distance along highway 99. Vehicle required to make the most of available facilities and attractions.

A lot of the reviews I read before booking seem to be complaints about normal hostel settings. The common spaces were great! You have a choice between the lounge/living room area that is nice and comfy. Then there is the dinning/eating area near the kitchen. Then there is a TV room. The kitchen is well equipped and organized. Loved the storage bins with the rooms/beds so your supplies didnt get lost or taken. Location was great right in the middle of Squamish and easy access to amenities and activities.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the à la carte breakfast, though served in small portions, was tasty and satisfying. The hotel offers a large parking area, which is convenient. The garden is currently under renovation, which made the surroundings a bit noisy at times. However, the hotel’s location is excellent Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. I would highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure travelers.

Proactive communication by Whatsapp made our late arrival very easy. The hotel is on the main street where a lot of restaurants and bars can be found. The room was big and had everything we needed. Especially the care products were very good!

There's a cool spiral staircase to the second floor; a nice book nook with seats, books, and maps of the local area attractions. The hotel room was very clean and well stocked with a fridge, cups, microwave, etc.
