It was Canada day, we were looking for a restaurant, hard to find. As I turned off the pavement toward a place where some cars were parked, my car bottomed out, bam! I didn't see that drop coming. The city should never have such a drop off of pavement in town! I was too upset to stop and take a picture of it. I drove a short way and made sure my oil pan wasn't leaking......

We found it very touristy and trendy. And even at this time of year the traffic was terrible. Having said that, we did enjoy our stay and would highly recommend The Watershed restaurant which sits right on Squamish River.

It's a lot less touristy and frenetic than Whistler - so glad we stayed here and not there. Good variety of restaurants. And when the weather finally cleared the day we left we were able to get up the amazing Sea to Sky Gondola for fabulous views - it's jolly expensive and we only had time to do a couple of the short hikes - but still worth it. We also enjoyed driving out north and south to the various waterfalls and also discovering the Squamish Spit and Estuary - where we watched lots of otters frolicking.

It is a working and active town but that is what we like...real! Lovely views of the mountains and The Chief from everywhere in town. Small friendly shops and cafes. Plenty of outdoor activities on the doorstep. Really enjoyed a full day on the trails at the Sea to Sky Gondola Nothing negative to say...loved Squamish!

Relatively quiet by UK standards with pleasant, not too busy streets in downtown area. Good range of facilities within the city but spread over quite a distance along highway 99. Vehicle required to make the most of available facilities and attractions.

A lot of the reviews I read before booking seem to be complaints about normal hostel settings. The common spaces were great! You have a choice between the lounge/living room area that is nice and comfy. Then there is the dinning/eating area near the kitchen. Then there is a TV room. The kitchen is well equipped and organized. Loved the storage bins with the rooms/beds so your supplies didnt get lost or taken. Location was great right in the middle of Squamish and easy access to amenities and activities.

The hotel is exactly what you'd expect for the price—nothing more, nothing less. I stayed here with my partner on New Year’s Eve, and while the service was good, there were some issues. We found a towel with feces in the cabinet under the sink, which was really disappointing. The rest of the towels were super thin and full of holes, so I’d recommend bringing your own (luckily, we did). For a single night, it’s fine, but I wouldn’t stay longer.

Great location in the heart of Squamish, easy to park your car if you had one. friendly staff happy to help with any extra requests/questions we had. Beds comfortable and room felt like it had been recently renovated. Shower head may have needed an update but was still very clean and functional. Free coffee and sweets in the lobby between 8-11am. Would recommend staying as it’s a great location you can walk to all things around Squamish

The hotel was quite basic but the bed was comfortable and the shower was decent. The staff was super helpful and friendly and went out of their way to help me with some local queries I had. The hotel is in a good location, right in the centre of Squamish. The rooms were nicely decorated and included a fridge.

Location fine. Hotel was booked solid. Convention rooms are $130 less per night I'm more of traditional breakfast One of my workers is gluten/dairy free, so the free breakfast has limited options other than fruit Otherwise, great stay, friendly staff
