Our stay at the Rooms at Woody Point was really laid back. Our room was #5 and was very clean. It has a well stocked kitchenette. The rain shower was great and they have in-floor heating in the shower room! The view from our king room was stunning of the Gros Morne National park, Tableland Mountains and Bonne Bay. Such a magnificent view! The king bed was very comfortable with the best pillows. You can order breakfast the night before and Helen or Donna will bring it to your room the night before, so you can have it in the morning. You’ll have a choice of 5. The Pizza on the Porch is more than just pizza. It is a gastronomy of flavours from different cultures. There’s a 4 course meal that starts off with a local appetizer, we had the shredded Rabbit confit, ginger carrot soup, salad with herbs from her garden and of course pizza. We had the Giovanni and my favourite the French Shore pizza. We finish with a chocolate pudding. Oh so good!! Great big shout out to Helen for making everything clean and comfortable and to our incredible owner/chef and host, Donna! If you’re ever in the area and need a place to stay we highly recommend the Rooms at Woody Point! Not only for the room and view but the food as well!

Our room was spacious and comfortable. We were at The Tides out of season, so were the only guests. For us, that worked out nicely as we had wonderful conversations with our hosts Barb and Robert during breakfast.

The building I stayed in looked very new and was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was not included and was quite expensive.

Everything!! The staff most importantly were very friendly, cordial and helpful. I loved it so much that we added two extra days to our visit. It is central to everywhere. Do not hesitate to book here. Breakfast included, laundry free of charge. Rooms are spacious.
