Great location. Beautiful surroundings and view. Staff was great. Restaurant onsite is good but pricey. In general on our trip trough Switzerland the dinners were not memorable and cost significantly more than New York City.

Lunch was excellent! I've never been eaten better lamb. Meat melted on the tongue. The presentation of the food was also fantastic. Breakfast was very good.

The location is absolutely magical and the hosts superbly welcoming. The guest unit is underneath the host’s own residence and they manage to be accessible for any query while allowing guests real privacy. The attention to every small luxurious detail is just fantastic, from lounging kimonos to the fruit basket and secret stash of chocolates if you feel wicked. We even got a lovely hand towel as a gift when we left. An absolute treasure of a place.

Location was perfect and central to all the shops, restaurants and chapel bridge. The room was so spacious, clean and comfortable with a stunning view of the River! Spectacular stay - one of the most magical places I've ever stayed overnight. During my visit, we awoke above the clouds to watch the sunrise, and the experience is simply stunning. The room was perfect - comfortable, clean and more tastefully decorated than other mountaintop hotels I visited in Switzerland. Since all food has to be shipped up to the hotel, the quality of dinner far exceeded my expectations and the dining room is beautiful and classic. Staff agreed to an early check-out to allow me to descend on the first funicular run, which I appreciated.
