Beautiful town, stunning location , easy to get to , regular bus service, mountains , river walks , breathtaking flowers , friendly people. For me a perfect place and everything you could want for a well kept rural town with amenities in a low key non showy way .

My aim was to escape the city rate race, so I decided to visit, hike & take photos of the Lac Blue & the charming village of Evolène & Dent Blanche. Which was a worthwhile idea to mentally relax, listen to my self and enjoy the silence of my solitude. A couple of pints with a wood oven Pizza from the restaurant downstairs were the highlight of my Saturday evening after a shattered hike. Driving to Evolène was easy & straight forward, all I had to do was to click on booking location link which took me right away to Google map then I listened to GPS instructions where I found myself at the door step after the exact suggested GPS travel time. It couldn't be easier. Two things I have regretted, 1) to stay longer than 2 days & 2) to get my self Nordic stick when it comes mountain hiking & tricking.

Very quaint little town with a lot of character. No ski lifts in town, but very well located to visit the areas of Evolene, Arolla, La Forclaz and Les Quatres Vallées (Les Masses). Very relaxed atmosphere.JasperDBEBelgium

Evolene, so beautiful, with walkable small foods hops and restaurants, and free bus to the ski slopes.

He even helped us by giving randone tips and showed us how to manage with the washing machine. All you need for a nice stay is located near by - food store, restaurants and ski centres (Tele Evolene & Arolla). Everything worked out smoothly and we can highly recommend this place.

I enjoyed talking with her for a little bit. The rooms are big, great Wi-Fi, great bathroom, nice balcony space. There is so much character and charm in this hotel.
