Staff were very friendly and welcoming- the room was comfortable with lots of nice features like movement sensitive night lights, and a touch pad control for lights and blinds. Air con was very welcome as it was warm when we visited. Coffee machine in lobby was great and there was a fridge in our room with complementary drinks. Well priced parking available close by (pay on app or at machine) Approx 15 min walk along the lakeside into Locarno.

Receptionist - all of them very kind and helpful.

Everything. The staff, the room, breakfast, location. Perfect for relaxation and stay.

SUPERB, SUPERB, SUPERB! This was our last of 9 hotels on a trip around Switzerland and the Piccolo was the best of all of them. Most hotels can be chosen for good location and great reviews as was this one. However, there is a nice surprise waiting for you on top of this. The hotel is very individual. It has its own style with amazing art throughout, the breakfast was amazing and the management was very friendly. I particularly liked how making us a takeaway breakfast for an early morning start wasn't a problem. Highly recommended.

I like everything. Great staff, the receptionist as the room was ready I checked in earlier. All went very quick Location is just at the train station, amazing . Few minutes walk from the lake

Fantastisk god service in reception Coffee free is perfect

Very friendly personal and central location

The staff were beyond friendly and helpful. Their cheeriness was infectious. A true asset to whoever owns the hotel. The room was very well appointed and decorated. Bathroom and shower were very good and spotlessly clean. Because of our travel plans, we didn't have breakfast but the garden/dinning area was also very well appointed. Would definitely stay here again.

Extremely kind and sympatic owner. Perfect location in the “center” of local life. Nice view upon lake.

Wonderful breakfast, spacious rooms, great staff and location

We slept incredibly well as the bed and bed linen were very comfortable and the room was generous and clean. The reception staff was very competent and friendly

Great location, room was clean and it was just perfect for a one night stay, loved the mobile key system

Central position, cleanliness, friendliness, good service and good at their restaurant.

Super location in a beautiful square near the Old Town and many restaurants and bars; easy access to the train station. Lara on Reception provided an excellent customer service and assistance. The room was well designed, good lighting and bedside controls with plenty of storage in both the bedroom and bathroom. There was even a full length mirror!! The hotel was able to meet our request for storage of medications in hotel fridge and freezer. All the staff were aware; clearly good internal communications. They were also able to meet some specific dietary needs especially lactose free milk. Also liked the convenience of having refrigerator in the room which was also very quiet . Also liked being able to ave a room with a choice of natural ventilation as well as A/C Summing up, the whole hotel concept had been well thought through . Spotlessly clean bedroom & bathroom bedlinen and towels!

beautiful interior, great view on christmas market, very friendly and helpful staff.

Sara was very nice to us. Evrything was exalant

There was so much room and if you are thinking is it worth the extra money for studio, it is. Immaculate throughout, great private balcony and mini bar is free and topped up daily. Nice touches when we arrived such as chocolate and Prosecco. In the main area they are super generous too with little complimentary goodies. Staff are superb, kind snd hardworking. I need to mention the ground man who kept the area spotless snd well tended, he worked non stop all day.

What I loved the most about the hotel was definitely the breakfast and the stunning lake view. The breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of options, everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. It really made each morning special. And the lake view was simply breathtaking, so peaceful and relaxing, it added a unique charm to the entire stay and made the experience even more memorable.
