In Short, This Hotel is Amazing. At first you'd think it was amazing due to panoramic views of the restaurant or the warm and smile filled welcome from the staff. The room is beautiful and whichever way your room faces you will not be disappointed by the view, we were facing the street and waking up to the view of Gruyeres and the bell from the chateau (don't worry it doesn't start until 6.30am) is a happy place to be. The bed is really comfortable and the Shower and Tea and Coffee making facilities are top tier! Our first meeting was Anna on Reception, we couldn't believe how kind and friendly she was and made us feel so ridiculously welcome. We had dinner in their restaurant twice, the food WAS that good. Served by Hitchem the first night and Anthony the second, they were both so friendly and attentive, we couldn't have been happier. Throughout our stay we were welcomed and helped by either Sophia, Antonio and Alex who were always around working hard but constantly with a smile and such genuinely kind people. The Place is perfect and the Staff here are an absolute credit to it.

- Location is nice and really only a few minutes from the highway - staff at reception was friendly (not very secure in speaking English or German, but trying) - room I eventually got (w Mountain View) was nice (and quiet there) - clean, spacious, comfortable, - bed comfortable
