We loved everything about the property. It was quiet, very close to both bus and train stations. They have a nice garden with fruit trees and vines. And the owner was soo kind and told us to help ourselves with the fruits. The breakfast was from 8 to 10 but they arranged it earlier at 7 for us since our itinerary was rigid. Our rooms were cleaned every day. The food was great. The WiFi dropped sometimes but I think that was my fault since I kept going into the garden. The owner was always ready to help us, he even gave us recommendations when it was raining bad. I would say one of the best places to stay because it’s really affordable not unreasonably expensive. Very very close to the bus and train station which was the reason we made it as our base. Had really good connectivity so we saved a lot of money changing hotel rooms. Over all 10/10 I miss the hotel already. Will definitely recommend everyone booking here they deserve more.

The hotel was 10mins bus from the station. The restaurant offered good food with reasonable prices. Breakfast is also great.

Spacious room, comfy bed, free parking, communal kitchen, easy check in. For me, the bad reviews are highly unfair - ok, perhaps the decor is not according to the latest fashion, and the (beautiful wooden) floor squeaks here and there.- bur you get a lot for the price and is a certainly very good option in this area.

Very accessible to everything

We had a wonderful stay and the view in the morning from our balcony was fantastic. The owner was really nice. The room was spacious enough for the four of us. Would definitely go back.

The location is very good, it is quiet but you can still reach interlaken ost by train in like 10 minutes, which is free with the guest card you receive at the reception. The room was not very big, but it was not really an issue, we could fit two big luggages and open them. The view from that balcony was incredible, the bed was confortable and the staff was very very friendly and helpful.

there was a reading light, a table, a sofa and comfortable chairs. the room also had a terrace with sea view, chairs and a table. instead of the completely unnecessary television there was a radio with alarm function

The room had a lovely view of lake Brienz and had all we needed. It was roomy, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom and shower spacious. Staff were very friendly and the service excellent. They even accommodated our request to leave our suitcases with them for a few hours after check out so we could finish our sightseeing without taking them on the train with us. Great place to stay!

Absolutely fantastic, for every recommendation. The village, the hotel, the staff, nature, everything was phenomenal. The room was amazing and the view of the lake was more than that. I will definitely come again.

Lovely hosts, room was spacious and well-laid out, bed was very comfortable, bathroom water pressure was great. We had dinner in the hotel one night and it was phenomenal!

Great hotel right in the middle of Brienz. Very clean, staff very friendly, very good breakfast, great restaurant for an evening meal. A hotel with character. I would highly recommend this hotel for location, service, food and cleanliness. Definitely a 10 out of 10 for us.

We had a wonderful stay during the Christmas period. The hotel was very cozy and beautifully decorated with a lovely Christmas spirit that made the atmosphere warm and festive. Everything was extremely clean and well maintained, and the rooms were very comfortable. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful, which really enhanced the experience. It’s a peaceful and charming place, perfect for a relaxing winter getaway. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

Location, view, and the staff. Amazing service from Hobeli [I hope the name is correct] and Mr Arditi. They made everything possible to make our stay smooth, very professional, very polite.

The front desk staff are very friendly, and the breakfast offers many options. They even provide free bus rides, with frequent buses to and from the city center. I highly recommend choosing this place.
