Very quaint town along the Rhein river.
Very quaint town along the Rhein river. Easy to drive to Schaffhausen and Rheinfalls. Also easy access to the boats going up and down the river. Everything was clean and tidy, with a homely atmosphere. Compared to hotels with fluffy towels and crisp white linens, this felt more like a cozy family cabin in the mountains. The same for food: Breakfast wasn’t extravagant rich, but lovingly prepared by the owner, who served coffee and tea with a warm smile and a friendly chat. A very nice experience.
